Gunners chants

There is a C.D. being sold around the Highbury Stadium area that has most of the popular chants on it.

 

Maybe a local Londoner could buy the CD and then make copies, and upload it to an FTP for those of us across the pond?

Ok, shipping is a wee bit on the high side, just make up for it and buy lots of Arsenal gear.

 

Does it have my personal favorite, "Who the ****************** are Man. United?" on it? If so, I might have to get one.

i don't think that's an 'arsenal' chant per se...

 

I will make some enquiries this Sunday, and if anything good is available I will get something and then consider about the "up/down" loading for my "brothers across the sea". Jeff.

 

Jeff, are you going to the game on Wednesday? If so, perhaps you can find out the cost on Sunday, then report it back here later that day. I for one am definitely interested in getting a CD, and would be glad to send a money order or something to you in exchange for you buying it on Wednesday.

 

Tonight I spoke with a friend of mine who sells stuff like that and better at the ground. He mentioned that there was one a couple of years ago, which was not very good, but I will still make enquiries. There are C.D.'s of "songs" about various players, and songs/chants sung at the ground, but professionally recorded. Still I will check out about "live chants".

 

Just to let you know, the Arsenal store has free shipping until May 16th, and they do have a CD of live chants for sale for roughly $4.50.

 

I have the disc that the Arsenal Super Store is offering, and although it is enjoyable, it is only a CD single featuring one song. It is a series of player specific chants strung together to make one "song."

 

Is that 1 song as awful as their rendition of Hot Stuff?

Ugh, I can't believe I bought it.

 

No, thankfully it's not as bad as that "Hot Stuff" from a few years ago. Basically, it's a series of chants strung together with bits of "One-nil to the Arsenal" playing in the background to tie them all together.

 

How long is the CD total?

 

About 3 or 4 minutes.

 

It's good for novelty value at least.

Just out of curiosity, did you have any tax or anything on your order?

 

In England, the sticker price already includes tax(unless something changed recently).
