    PS3 FIFA 09 League information:

    League Name: BS Online League
    Abbreviation: BSL
    Password: big2009

I've sent league invites to those of you who are on my friends list. For those who are not on it yet, search for the league with the above information or accept my friend request and wait to receive a league invite.

We have a total of 11 participants, meaning there's room for one more (I put 12 participants when I created the league).

When I was creating the league, it asked me how many times I wanted each team to face each other and if I wanted playoffs. For the first question, I put 1 time only, since the other options were 3 or 5. I figured this could be a rehearsal league, and if anything we can make changes next season. Regarding the playoffs, I decided to create one. They will consist of two leg rounds.

    Here's the participants list:

    1. Locoxriver - Juventus
    2. Che Matador (CheMatador) - FC Porto
    3. Drake44444 (DrakeZenit) - Inter
    4. Ctoa23 - Aston Villa
    5. DestroyerDaMarc (jmack_fhp) - Standard Liege
    6. Drewbrink (sizzlawarrior) - Ajax
    7. Naui_Ocelotl (fcratm) - Barcelona
    8. Turicato9 (car9vel) - Valencia
    9. CyberAce100 (krazyM) - Lyon
    10. El Buki (yoguitl) - Sevilla
    11. Prime Time (Franco8813) - Arsenal

ROOM FOR ONE MORE PARTICIPANT! DON'T BY SHY, AND JOIN! :D

Please post an Official Game Report in this thread after each match you play in the league. It helps make the league more fun, and allows us to have a top goalscorers list. It should look like this:

    Final Result:
    Goal Scorers (for your team):
    My Record (W-D-L):

    An example:

    Official Game Report

Final Result: Juventus: 4 - Standard Liege: 2
Goal Scorers: Trezeguet (1), Amauri (3)
    My Record (W-D-L): 1-0-0

    Thanks!

I won my first game vs. Standard Liege by 4-2. It would have been 4-1 if I didn't concede that last minute goal, but it's cool.. it was a good game nonetheless.

Looking forward to playing everybody else in the near future!

Do you happen to know the goal scorers for the game? We could do a golden boot award if you kept track of who net in the game. But if it's too much of a hassle then it is cool.

So, LocoxRiver 1-0 and DestroyerDaMarc is 0-1.

I'm not sure about his goalscorers, but mine were Trezeguet (1) and Amauri (3).

And for me Dante (1) and Mbokani (1)

In all honesty I think it will be a striker dominated league sadly. 09 for whatever reason seems to be very harsh on the long shots when in the 07 game it was easier to put a nice spin on the ball.

I doubt anyone would cheat, but from now on you should just keep an eye out for the goal scorers. Just a suggestion.

    Goal leaders

    1) Amauri (Juventus) - 3
    2) Trezeguet (Juventus) - 1
    2) Dante (Standard Liege) - 1
    2) Mbokani (Standard Liege) - 1

Thanks for your help, Prime Time!

From now on, let's keep an Official Game Report that's posted by both participants after each match. It'll make things easier and will allow us to keep track of some interesting facts. Use the following:

    Final Result:
    Goal Scorers (for your team):
    My Record (W-D-L):

As an example, this is what I would have posted after the game I played today:

    Official Game Report

Final Result: Juventus: 4 - Standard Liege: 2
Goal Scorers: Trezeguet (1), Amauri (3)
    My Record: 1-0-0

Just beat Standard Liege 3-2. Abolongahor scored twice I believe. Don't remember who my third was.

Mbonkani scored twice as well I think, and was man of the match.

    I'm 1-0 now, and Destroyer is 0-2

Sorry that I don't have a game report. Wasn't really paying attention at the time haha :p

    Abby 2 and Carew 1.

    Mbokani did indeed score twice.

I played Che Matador and drew 1-1.

    Witzel (1)

    and

    Lopes (1)

So now I'm 0-2-1. Not bad but I need to get better. Weird though; the league says I have zero games remaining.

    Alright, thanks. Very close game.

I think that zero you see is for me, CheMatador and River. You only play everyone once it looks like.

Well after a showing like the one against Prime Time, there's always next season for playoffs.

    GOALS

    Adebayor 2
    Van Persie 1

JakeM disconnected in the 73rd minute losing 3-0.

So how does this work? Because it did not give me credit for the W in the league as far as I can see. He says he didn't quit and I have a 0% DNF rate in FIFA and my connection never drops. He paused the game to make a substitution and as soon as the game resumes the connection was lost. So now what?

    3-0-0.

There is a bug on substitutions, especially in game. You haven't seen it before? I have had games freeze or fall out quite a bit on substitutions. Well at least 3 or 4 times, maybe more. I hold my breath everytime I sub.

Arsenal (Prime Time) 4-1 Sevilla FC (Yoguitl)

    Toure 1

*I allowed my first goal of the season on a deflection on a pass that left his guy 1-v-1. I was pissed.

    4-0-0.
