Maybe. Like I've said before Landín has the physical tools to succeed, it seems to be a question of mentality (and finishing) that's the problem with him.
I think a big issue with Landin has been his attitude in the past. He had some really nice early success with Pachuca while still very young. He seemed to let the early praise he got really go to his head, and he stopped improving and actually seemed to regress. By the time Pachuca let him go to Morelia, I was glad to see him go. Hopefully, he has learned a bit of humility and knows that he really needs to make a concious effort to ply his trade as best he can. I hope for the best for him, he is still young and if he continues on this streak, he has a very bright future ahead of him.
His first league game for Cruz Azul the TV Azteca commentators couldn't stop talking about how "fat" he looked. Bet he shut them up.
Maybe so but as long as he scores the goals he deserves some respect. Once he stops scoring goals, then rip him all you want. But as long as he is getting results, dejenlo en paz. Edit: you're right he is fat River Plate apparently has a forward in a similar situation http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=624292&sec=global&&cc=5901
I saw a recent River match in Libertadores and Fabbiani is HUGE! Anyway back to Landín, I'm extremely dissapointed about his weight and general attitude problem, he could've been our NT's #9 (maybe still can be?) had he put more seriousness and dedication into his career.
Doesn't matter. If you're scoring you're scoring. Sometimes you have a run where you can do no wrong. Landin is having a good streak, we should ride it and take advantage of it until it ends.
if Landin maintains his spot as our leading domestic player at the end of the season, I say el vasco calls him up
