http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/12/sports/soccer/12soccer.html?ref=sports Cute article on Leo Krupnik in the New York Times. Unfortunately, it looks like most of the information was taken from Wikipedia.
There are some inaccuracies in this article. Krupnik claims that he is one of the higher paid players in Israel but in truth he only makes above average. For instance, Shlomi Arbeitman makes over $120,000 per annum and every player on Beitar makes between $100,000 to $575,000 per annum.
The Israeli mdeia has seen the article as well: http://www.sport5.co.il/articles.aspx?FolderID=64&docID=25283&lang=he
That's an interesting article - also he says he's one of the highest paid people, not players, in Israel - I think that's accurate.
Why does this thread keep getting kicked to the top of the list when only four of you have posted on it? Just curious if anyone had anything better to do on here then push old news like this to the top of the list? Can we please get more importnant information on the list so big soccer viewrs could enjoy it more? Thanks New subscriber
