WIZARD'S Sheep Game: BUNDESHEEPA Season 2 - Week 1

The First Week of the Second KC Bundesheepa is now available!

Everyone is welcome to play. The Top 18 players from the First Season have been placed in the FIRST Bundesheepa. The remaining players and any newcomers will be placed in the 2nd Bundesheepa.

DC, New England, and Houston also have SHEEP games. The first season can be view at Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5, Week 6, Week 7, and Week 8.

The four top finishers will be invited to join the First Sheep Champions League against fans from DC, New England, and Houston. This competition will run for one week with three competitions. After a week's hiatus, the Bundesheepa will continue the following week.

How to play: You send a PM to IASocFan with your answers to all 15 questions each week. The goal is not to answer the questions correctly, but to guess what will be the most popular answer. (Example….if the category is “Best player in MLS” and you think the correct answer is Claudio Reyna, but you think everyone on the Wizards' board would say the Groin, then you should answer Jimmy Conrad also. ) You will score points based on how many people answer like you. If 15 people answered Conrad then you’d get 15 points for that question. Whoever scores the most points after all 15 questions will win the week.

Scoring: The weekly winner will get the same number of points as people who entered the game that week. If 25 people played then the winner would get 25 points. Second place would be worth 24 points, third would be worth 23 points, last would be worth 1 point, etc…. First place will also receive a 5 point bonus for the win. These points will be accumulated throughout the 8 week season and whoever scores the most will win the league.

Standings: Each season will be 8 weeks long. The top 4 players will qualify for the Sheep Champions League to compete with top players from other teams' leagues.

Two League Cups are planned for this Second Season. They will be described in subsequent posts.

BUNDESHEEPA Season 2 - CUP Competition

The German League has two Cup Competitions - The DFB Pokal or German Football Federation Cup and the Premiere Ligapokal or Premier League Cup.

The Premier League Cup is a preseason competition with the top 6 teams from the previous year. The DFB Pokal is a competition with all the teams in the top 3 leagues.

Our Premier Sheepa Cup will start this week and continue for two additional weeks with the following pairings. The player with the highest score each week will advance. The higher seed advances in case of a draw.

I should post something about divisions. The top 18 players from the first season will play in the First Division. The remaining 15 players and any newcomers will play in the Second Division. Scoring will be done over all players, but the standings will be divided.

I started playing in the DC - Barra Brava forum, and am using their rules. Suggestions for changes will be considered, but I'm using their format to keep some consistency. There highest score for their second season was from the 2nd division which I thought strange, but that's what they were doing.

Oh, and I'm doing better in their competition than ours. I'm not sure what that says for my questions or theirs or either level of play - probably just the better/smarter Midwest people!
