No problem, the last thread got close to 500...does anyone have the energy or time to bring in the highlights from the previous thread? I don't want you guys to lose the great creative momentum you have going.

OK, I took Sport Billy's last suggestion and I think we have a final design.:) I changed the colors of A.C. as well for improved contrast.

    That I like.
Now if I could just see it on 11 men on a pitch in Collinsville it would be perfect.

Here is a new kit design.

I decided to get away from the cross/fleur de lys design ideas and go with something simpler. I really like the way it turned out and no other team in MLS uses this color block pattern.

    What do you think?

I think I was a fan of the lighter green myself.

I might throw up if our team has a checker design jersey.

I think this would be great for the away jersey.
    Good work Sport Billy.

What two shirts are you talking about? Could you put them together?

The problem i have with this jersey, is that if(when) we get a shirt sponsor, this jersey if gone. So I kinda want something that has a better chance at lasting.

    This looks pretty sweet.

I don't like the "halfsies" jersies with the big vertical stripes (like Barca went to this year). If you are gonna give me vertical stripes, make 'em thinner like Chivas.

And of course, the crest rocks.

I like the kit, but there are already two club s in the league who have made the horizontal chest stripe their trademark, in Chicago and DC. Also, this kit would run into trouble with a possible sponsor. I still like the idea of a chevron.

Ok guys, I think I have solved the problems of unique design and sponsor logo. I used the Adidas Squadra II jersey.

I've always liked the idea of using an arch as a design element, but was unhappy with my attempts until now. I think this stylized arch is unique to St. Louis, but gives the same impression as the sash similar to the Galaxy, but in the opposite direction. Also, the design doesn't interfere with the placement of the sponsor logo.

I haven't tried the arch design on other jersey templates, but I think the simpler design of this jersey works better anyway.

How do you submit your own images to the forum? i did a quick hand-drawing image and scanned it, but can not figure out how to post it?

The crest is fantastic!!!!! I don't see Cooper coming up with anything better than that. Maybe if Cooper makes a donation to the board or something he can just take ownership of it. I don't think it should be changed at all.

Also, I like the arch in the new design. I think it should be in there somewhere. I am not sure if I like it more than the cross, but it is still a cool way to integrate that theme. Great work all.

This is a quick idea that i had for the badge. Just seeing what people thought about it and if someone could turn it into a graphic logo (that does not really sound right). Anyway, i tried to blend the saint louis medallion and the missouri flag to get everything together. Tell me if the link works.

I think that is as good as it gets - I particularly like the use of the arch - congratulations. Can't wait for the team and SSS to arrive!

Keeperdad likes feedback, so here is mine about the "Arch" design.

It looks more trendy than classic. I know those aren't definite terms, more of a feel. Classic jersies look great 20 years later, and sometimes teams go back to using them. Trendy jersies look good for a while, but eventually you go "are we actually wearing this?" The Houston Astros in the '80s comes to mind.

In other words, while this design is creative, it's not my fave.

You nailed it - The sceptre jersey could become a classic design for St. Louis.

Thanks for the feedback sirfallsalot, I can see your point about the design being more novelty than classic. Do you think the cross design is good as of the last iteration or should I try to tweak it a little?
