I reckon things will really kick off in the next couple of weeks with some big transfers both to and from the Dutch league. So I thought it might be a good idea to bundle all the rumours, news and definite transfers in one thread.

Twente's rumoured to sign Elia (ADO), Diba (NAC) and Schroeder (Feyenoord).
Kennedy's out (Ajax) as is Touma (destination still unknown), and Middlesbrough are rumoured to be near a deal with N'Kufo. Rumours about PSV wanting to sign Engelaar won't go away but I'm hopeful he's staying as PSV are after signing Tommy van der Leegte.

Post your own club's transfer news here!

Meanwhile ManU invest GBP 18 million in Hargreaves whereas their fans consider 20 million Euros too much for Huntelaar. You've got to laugh really.

    Why is Hargreaves leaving Bayern?????
Is it voluntarily or is he being asked to???

The rumours about Huntelaar are good for a laugh.

Huntelaar to Arsenal for 8m + Ljungberg.

Huntelaar to Liverpool for 9m + Zenden.

Really, I wouldn't want any of the 2 players mentioned.

Huntelaar should stick around for at least another year-

-there looks like there will be some significant other changes at Ajax--

    Sneijder gone---

pretty quiet on the northern front....so far (knock on wood!)

    IN:

Stenman (Bayer Leverkusen), Rozema (A-juniors), Metaj (A-juniors)

    OUT:

Antoine vd Linden (no club yet), Yuri Cornelisse (no club yet)
Danny Holla (on loan to Zwolle)

    Rumours:

Lindgren to PSV (not very likely), Kruiswijk to Hannover (might happen), Levchenko to BM Gladbach (if the money's good...)

Nevland and Suaréz are going nowhere, and I don't think Sankoh will either, that's the best news. If we also can keep Lindgren, we'll have our core group for next season. We'll probably need an extra striker, a midfielder/defender (depending if any of the players mentioned above leaves or not) and we definitely need a no.1 goalkeeper.

No names yet, but I suspect out technical management will surprise us like they have been doing the last few seasons....

I read somewhere that Nevland would consider a domestic transfer 'treason'. Wish he would've talked to Kennedy! I really like that Lovre of yours btw, quality player.

    Anyway confirmed at Twente:

In: Schroeder (1 year contract from feyenoord)
Out: Kennedy (to ajax 4-year contract)
Youth development player given a full-pro contract: Marko Arnautovic (4-year contract)
Twente-Heracles A1 players given Twente neo-pro contracts: captain Joran Pot, Gaby Jallo, Nick Scheurwater, Lesley Nahrwold, Jules Reimerink

Also, Twente are trying to sign Milano Koenders (RKC)

Roda was after Lovre last year. Too bad he chose Groningen, quality for sure.

Anyways...It's crazy time in Kerkrade, and I'm loving it.

As you may or may not have noticed, I have been a bit football-burned-out lately (example: not in the least bit looking forward to the u21 EC this summer), but I just LOVE Roda management. Narninx has been an absolute hero for all of us. Nothing is certain yet, but these are the names singing around.

    IN

Huysegems Some people claim the deal is already done, others fear it might cost us one of our two favorite players (Meeuwis or de Fauw). Nothing is sure yet, but I love the ambition of our board to go for players like these anyways. Huysegems himself wants to wait and see if Co gets on board in Rotterdam, and if so, I don't expect him to come, but blablahblahblah. Not good enough for Feyenoord, but he'd make a good partner up front for Oper

Velthuizen Never gonna happen. Again: good idea though. They made a bid for one of the most talented young goalies in the league, who plays for an 'equal' team. They haven't done anything like that in a looooong time. They're considering a second bid.

Sonkaya Again, rumours rumours rumours, but he wants to come back to Holland and supposedly Roda has already offered him a one-year deal. We´ll see.

Also, Oper renewed his contract from 2008 to 2009. Whoo!!!

EDIT...How can I forget. These two are done deals, made earlier in the year (largely to piss of VVV)

Van Kouwen - Central defender...don't really know him all that well
Janssen - Creative midfielder. Apparently quite the talent.

    OUT

Kujovic A shame really, he´s been excellent when called upon this season, and he walks out of Kerkrade for free. I won´t miss his inconsistency, but I will miss his absolute stand-out games against the top clubs.
    Agustien Going back to AZ
    Bodor Thats just wishful thinking.
    Vandamme Rumoured. He didn´t impress.

Four Ajax's sake I hope you are just as wrong about this as you were about when you told us Sneijder will be sold for 7 million.

Sneijder leaving is something I can live with, it's something that was to be expected. But losing Huntelaar as well at the same time is a bit too much for my liking.

At the least it seems that we could be getting a decent return on the initial investment in Huntelaar. I remember that mid-season when he was in his goal slump there were all kinds of bogus rumors about him being sold to other dutch clubs for peanuts. It's amazing what a few months and lots of goals can do.

But yes I agree losing Huntelaar could be disastrous for us. It would be nice to have him if we get into the CL next season.

I think losing Sniejder is a bigger loss than losing Huntelaar--IMO

I agree. But losing both is what's really worrying me.

I think they can pick up a striker from another Eredivisie team even iif they have to pay too much with all the money they will make from the sale of these two

    but

its a lot tougher to pick up a team leader and superior midfielder even if he was kind of a midget

it's like losing a Van der Vaart or Van Bommel--these guys are will crash thru steel to win--hard to replace

Well the rumors I've heard of from the absolutely-truthful-no-making-it-up-everyone-talks-to-us website tribalfootball.com:

Huntelaar to Juventus (agreed terms 2.5mil euro salary and transfer fee starting at 12.5million GBP)

Krkic to Ajax on loan from Barcelona

Van Gaal to coach Manchester City

And you know all of that is true...
