Anyway, these are "our" two groups for 2007: --Group E: URAWA REDS Sydney FC Shanghai Shenhua Persik Kediri (India) -- Group F: Bangkok University KAWASAKI FRONTALE Ps Arlema Malang (Indonesia) Chunnam Dragons FC (Korea) It should be quite easy for Frontale, while Reds should watch out for Shanghai and Sydney. (I am assuming -hopefully rightly- that two teams per group qualify...) The other East Asia Group (G) has Adelaide, Ilwha (Korea), Shandong (China) and the Vietnamese champions. The other groups are basically all composed by teams starting with "AL"... Games start in march, schedule HERE: http://www.the-afc.com/english/competitions/pdf/acl2007Fix.pdf
Re: J-League Clubs in the ACL [R] By the way, Japanese player Masahiro Fukasawa joined Bangkok University FC. http://wsp.sponichi.co.jp/news/archives/2007/01/post_2730.html
Re: J-League Clubs in the ACL [R] Unfortunately, only one per group goes through. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 Please post HERE for whatever regards this season's Asian Champions League. Considering how the two Japanese clubs involved have quite an audience, I hope this year we will hear more about this competition.
Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 Wow, 1 minute into the game and Frontale is up 1-0!
Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 I thought it'd be a massacre, but not so! 1-1 after 45m.
Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 Check out the Indonesian supporters... http://www.jsgoal.jp/photo/00021100/00021175.html
Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 Yup, the Indonesians are a crazy lot too alright. Sadly it hasn't really caught onto the rest of SE Asia... Urawa beat Persik Kediri 3-0, but in reality it should have been more according to Osieck. They also outshot Persik by 26-1 if that's any indication.

Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 thats a pathetic score for Urawa at home against such a garbage team, is it not?
Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 Maybe it wasn't that bad...? Of course there is an assumption that South and SE Asia teams are widely inferior; however, they are destined to improve aswell. Just think about how Japan's clubs and the NT have improved in the last 10 years or so... Anyway, let's try not to insult other teams... thanks!
Re: Urawa Reds, Kawasaki Frontale, and the ACL 2007 Well, Uwara had 26 shot to 1, so yes they should have scored more.
