Or will Setanta gobble them all up. Why I say this is I am trying to get Direct TV but they tell me I have three large branches that would have to be removed. That would cost big bucks almost $1,500. Money better spent on other things than having trees cut down. I say if they tried hard enough they could find a place in the yerd for the dish. They are sending some of their best techs out this Wednesday for a second opinion. I love Man United and want to be able to see them play a few games live on TV instead of waiting for highlight packages on FSC...If they can not find a spot. I will just have to make due. Any suggestions on how I will be able to see live United games starting with this Wednesday's game vs. Charlton. Any help would be greatly preeshiated...
Well a lot of our games will be on Setanta as far as I can see. go to SoccerTV.com and register for their emails. They help. the wednesday game is on Setanta, and its best you stream the match.
There are numerous thread on this, I'd do a search if you need more info, and also check out the TV Satellite & Radio board. Also, there's always links to streaming matches floating around, so if you've broadband that's an option as well. IIRC, the next two matches (Charlton and Watford) are on Setanta, but the next two after that (Spurs and Arsenal) will be on FSC...
It's my understanding that Setanta's contract with Fox is for games in a time slot, not by team. Utd won't always be in Setanta's time slots.
After trying and failing many times, I think I get it. Sat noon kickoff- Setanta (formerly FSC) Sat 3pm kickoff- 1st choice Setanta, 2nd choice FSC (formerly only PPV and just one match as opposed to 2) Sat evening match- FSC (formerly FSC) Sun noon match -setanta (formerly not available or delayed PPV at the 4 pm slot) Sun 4pm Kick off- Setanta (formerly PPV) Mon evening match - FSC (formerly FSC) replays throughout the week.
FYP. The late sunday match (Chelsea-City this past week) is live on FSC. Also, Setanta has the 3rd choice SAturday 3pm match (shown on delay) and FSC has the 4th choice (shown on delay). Below I edited a post from GPK's Chelsea match thread (which provides the TV schedule in a concise and helpful manner), showing how a typical week should look, using this past weekend as the example... I think I got this right...
Thanks for this info. Someone had told me that Manchester United games would only be shown on Setanta but then I looked at the soccerTV schedule and was confused!
