I've got a Pink song on my iPod. "Feel Good Time" Rare that I like poppy stuff, but that one appeals to me for some reason. Perhaps Pandora can tell me why I like it. Ok... I decided that was a good idea and checked. Apparently, I like it because it has "electronica influences, a subtle use of vocal harmony, extensive vamping, major key tonality" and some other stuff. Actually, the song they picked for me based on that is pretty decent... perhaps that's what I like! Eeeep!
Under my "if I hear two songs I like on an album, I want to buy it" rule, I hereby have Sugar Ray's 14:59 (Someday, Every Morning) on my buy list. I shamelessly like Phil Collins. And Huey Lewis and the News, too. Well, maybe not shamelessly. But I still like them.
yup, i'll admit it too... great cut i guess i'd have to say my favorite guilty pleasure is the dixie chicks
Here we come, walkin' down the street We get the funniest looks from everyone one we meet. Hey Hey we're the Monkees and people say we monkey around. But we're too busy singing to put anybody down
Are you a Beck fan? If so, it's probably why you like that song, seeing as he wrote it. For the record, it's on my IPOD as well. No 'Feel Good' for Beck
I have a Spice Girls album on my ipod as well as a Kelly Clarkson one. very weird when you go through it and most what you see is Zeppelin, Hendrix, Guns N Roses, Slayer, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest. On another note, this thread must be stopped and removed if anyone mentiones Paris Hilton's new single.
I always liked "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran, even though I loathed them and a vast majority ofNew Wave as a young lad. Maybe having Warren Cuccorullo on it made me like it more, but it was just a standard ballad, so I'd chalk it up to a guilty pleasure...
Same here. And pretty much every single song on my iPod, if by some miracle anyone here were to admit to liking, would definately only be claimed by them under the umbrella of 'guilty pleasure.' But I don't care. I love fun music. I have no problems being proud of the music I love.
Wow. Had no idea. I think Beck's ok. I've loved some songs and not cared for some... but I own no Beck cds. Did he ever end up releasing it? I'd love to hear it. BTW... thought of another guilty pleasure. I like quite a few Kylie Minogue songs. So there!
Guilty pleasure? Return Of The Mack is THE JAM! I think that was the summer of '97. I remember cruising in my car with the windows down cranking that tune out full blast. Anyway I have a few Bee Gees songs (How Deep Is Your Love, Too Much Heaven, Night Fever, More Than A Woman) currently on my computer. I also have I Think I'm In Love With You by Jessica Simpson on it too. Now those are guilty pleasures.
There are so much of them, I'm starting to get immuned towards shame. Well, this said, I think I would be prudent at first if a 'promising' girl was to find out my geeky penchant for Japanese anime songs... Bah, not even ! So, to answer the question, I'd say singing Saint Seiya OP "Pegasus fantasy". Hmmm, otherwise, let say songs by Boney M or ABBA. But most people like them anyway, so that would only be embarrassing among musical aristocrats.
I shamelessly love Barry Manilow... and not Copa Cubana either... the classic 70's tunes... Can't Smile Without You, New York City Rhythm, Weekend in New England, etc etc.. I've even seen him in concert.
LOL.... hey I can't help it... while most of my friends were raised on Bad Company, Skynard, the Stones, etc... I was raised on Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, and Hooked on Classics... you know.. the classical tunes put to a 4/4 beat.
