    And Reyna has disappeared. Even before the (latest) injury.

    It would be cool to see McB playing in the Champion's League/UEFA Cup next year...

    It's great that these players are doing so well. It's a pity more Americans can't see them play. I can't afford Fox Sports World right now; but it would do so much more for US Soccer if kids at least could see how these guys are doing abroad.

    I don't think that's fair. Most Sunderland fans felt at the time of his injury that he was the best player. He was playing out of position, and he had nobody to score as Phillips didn't return until after Reyna's injury.

    I am the biggest McBride fan and as well as he is tearing it up in Europe...Friedel is now known over there as the best keeper in the EPL...no one else can have that said about them...so I'd say Friedel..

    Friedel is easily our best player overall. As for the best outfield player, McBride is the current leader, but that will probably change when he comes back to MLS.
