Thanks.. King is the only one I am worried about making it all the way back fit, but I am with you, I believe he will be ready to go....

king looks to be the only one over whom there is serious doubt at this stage - the world cup squad has to be named before the pre-tournament friendlies are played so he won't have a chance to prove his fitness. just depends whether sven wants to take the gamble - it may depend on whether campbell's has been convincingly proven, as taking two half fit centrebacks would be pretty stupid.

however, it's not really as if there's anyone banging down the door to take his place though, especially with woodgate crippled again (assuming carragher is going and we're only taking one right back).

It's not just about being fit to play, a huge amount depends on match practice, which they will all lack, other than Ledley, who looks the least likely to recover - I would not be picking Mikey, Sol or Ashley, for a World Cup game, based on reserve and friendly appearances!

It is now looking increasingly likely, that Mong P, will go - we are fcukin doomed.......... :(

guess it was inevitable that roonaldo would go down.

Well it's the x-ray they are taking right now that will be a key..
Hopefully a negative x-ray, a short recovery and off to Germany..

You never know. I've done this before - I thought I broke my foot, but it was really bad bruising, the pain at the time was excruiating. Let's wait and see what the quacks say later...

true, he'll either have just twisted it badly and will be out for 2 weeks, or he'll be out for the next 6 months.
