Re: J.League Division 2 Clubs (13 Clubs) thanks the opener is Urawa Reds versus Gamba Osaka. btw, the super cup is also Urawa Reds versus Gamba Osaka.
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] This year looks slightly bleak for Gamba. It's going to be rough without araujo and Oguro. I doubt Gamba can put in a genuine fight to defend the title. The loss of araujo and Oguro is too great If we clean up our defence, it's a possibilty we could be up there. That was our biggest problem last season, conceding to many goal. The only thing that helped us was the amount of firepower we had up front. If we do what Cerezo did last year and scraped results with tight defence, i think we can have a positive season. As for the midfield, I think we have the 2nd best Midfield in the league, behind Kashima of course. So theres no problem there. FORZA GAMBA
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Gamba2005, do you have any thoughts on Kota Yoshihara, newly departed for Omiya?
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] I have always loved Kota, in recent years he as fell further and further down the peking order, he is a talent, but low on confidence and for striker confidence is a huge thing. I'm glad and sad at the same time. Glad he getting a chance of first team football but sad because he's been a favourite of mine for a few years. A move was the right thing for him right now. It might take a while but if given the right amount of opportunaties and if he gets a few goals, I think he can do good things at Omiya.
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Also i don't think he an out and out goalscorer. but gets assists
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Thanks for that, G2005. There are rumours circulating that Omiya are in for Maric now that his contract is up with Urawa, which might make for an interesting partnership. However, one thing that concerns Squirrels fans is that Yoshihara might turn out to be a little unreliable or injury-prone, as Naoto Sakurai has been this season: undoubtedly a decent enough player, but we haven't really got that much out of him. A club like Omiya with a small squad and precious little J1 experience can't afford too many players who don't make a real contribution.
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] I think Maric would be would be a great signing for Omiya. but i want maric in Osaka As for Yoshi, If he is going to be a success he is going to have to put 100% in every game, which is something i can't see just now, maybe later in the season if he gets some confidence back. by the way, when are you going back to your stadium, or are you already back
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] The renovation of Omiya Koen is due to be completed in October 2007. Apparently it will be something along the lines of Nihondaira.
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Just found this interesting Interview with Urawa Reds manager Guido Buchwald. http://www.tmcnet.com/usubmit/2005/dec/1238793.htm Oguro you traitor
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Buchwald say what i think. Oguro...............what have you done
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] BACK? Maric never played in Croatia. He played only in Germany Clubs: - Urawa Red Diamonds - Borussia Monchengladbach - VFL Woflsburg - Sttugarter Kickers - SG Wattenscheid 09 - Kalrsruher SC - SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg - Vfr Heilbronn Youth Teams: - ESV Heilbronn - TSV Talheim just info
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Considering he was born in Croatia and is in fact Croatian it's possible for him to go back to Croatia
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Nope, he was born in Germany. His parents are from Croatia and he got a German and a Croatian Passboard

Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] I sometimes read the rumor Zico dose not like Toda. Anyway it will be very difficult for him to come back to Japan NT.
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] It's impossible for Toda to get into the National team by the world cup
Re: Official 2006 J.League Division 1 & 2 Thread [R] Toda in Nationalteam...red irokese...good old times
