Chad Barrett to germany?

That's the first I've heard of this. It would be a shame to lose him, if it is true. Maybe he'll get on with Stuttgart, they could use the help scoring some goals. I'll eliminate Schalke, since they're in flux with their manager and such.

 

This is surprising since Chad didn't start for the Fire nor did he establish himself as strong player in MLS.

 

You sure he isn't just over in Germany training with another club?

 

That's what I thought he was doing. I remember hearing this news somewhere else, and I'm pretty sure he's just training.

 

however, that could lead to a corey gibbs situation.

 

A move to Europe would not surprise me. He is a great young talent and was our most effective player at the last world cup. Did he perform better than Reiter and Herron? Clearly yes. With limited time he played very well.

 

I must have been taking a piss-break when he was shown during the games in Korea.

 

Obviously he is speaking of the Youth world cup.

 

He was just training and visiting his buddy, Benny! I wouldn't read into it any further than that.

 

He was at Hamburg but is back in Oregon now. Most all players dream of playing internationally. They get paid alot more money and are in countries that love the sport. His goal is to play over there and I'd bet the sooner the better but on the other hand he loves Chicago!
