Print edition of the English Daily Yomiuri is reporting that Araujo is not coming back to Gamba. They reported a couple weeks back that Washington and Gil won't be back for Verdy

Also the Omiya Ardija web site announced that Tuto and Leandro weren't offered contracts. It's in japanese but if you want a good rundown of who's out for Omiya, The GoGo Omiya Ardija website is highly reccomended!

I'll try and track down links

Though I am not Gamba fan, I really want they do well in ACL. But Araujo is leaving from Gamba!
I hope Gamba or Marinos get Washington. I want to watch this guy more in J-League.

Already Japan's ACL participants are looking very weak. Oguro wants to go abroad, so with him and Araujo gone Gamba will have lost the firepower that got it the championship.

Oguro is going to Grenoble, second division team in France. I am afraid he will be out from NT.

I was wondering what FC Tokyo was gonna do with Kaji and Tokunaga, cause they play the same position if I recall correctly. This is good for both teams I guess. I am worried about Gamba's attack though. Is the crybaby Fernandinho still there?

    Re: J League transaction thread

The official World Cup ball will be used for J.League matches next year. Also, the Away Rule is approved and will be in effect for 2006 Nabisco Cup Playoffs and Promotion-Relegation Serie.

Speaking of Nabisco Cup, this year two ACL clubs were seeded to the playoff round, but next year **since Verdy is making the matter COMPLICATED** 17 clubs will enter group stage and only Gamba will recieve the first round bye. This means there will be 3 groups of four and 1 group of five for the group stage.

Next year's opening match will be Gamba Osaka vs. Urawa Reds on March 4, 2006. The J1 will have 12 rounds until May 6, 2006. Then there will be no J1 for two month because of the WC. All-Stars match will take place on mid-July. J1 will continue the following week and it will end on Dec 2, 2006. However, J2 will be continuted to be held during the WC. A3 Cup will be in Japan on August.

    Re: J League transaction thread

Even native speaker often have difficulty reading Kanji in name. Japanese names are virtually unlimited and some of these have exceptional pronounciation.

Nice site! I can use this site to wirte here. Great help.
