    And this proves what? that we have more money to spend than the Arse (and perhaps more need to spend in those years) and that we have neither the funds nor the profligacy of Chelski , Real or manUre?

    Those Italian clubs I think have it easier. Serie A is so slow, players are still very effective well into their 30s. So they can keep players on contract much longer.

    Sorry really can't see the point of this post unless your an accountant and then what you doing watching football, pretty sure theres a Train to spot or a Traffic light is changing color somewhere. :)

    That website confusingly categorises transfers by 'season'... sometimes a summer transfer goes into the previous season, sometimes the next season.

    Yeah and ? Were going to be spending some more money come January but who cares as long as we improve our squad plus if we do well in the world club champs we shall get a good wad of cash. Don't worry so much Liverpool aren't going skint just yet but thanks for letting us know
