That's true. That movie was a real dark horse. All the marketing that year was for "The White Ribbon" (it's been on cable lately and I've been meaning to watch it) and "A Prophet"... Those were the expected winners and they were getting all the buzz, hardly anyone had heard of "El Secreto De Sus Ojos". Hadexx, Nueve Reinas was an excellent movie. Ricardo Darin has quickly become one of my favorite actors.
What???? have you guys been living under a rock with the Geico dudes? Maybe you guys are not into the latin american films like i am... I am a sick fan... If a low budget movie is good, it is because it plaid with my head with real life events and words... no lazers, mutations, aliens, etc... ogopogo... watch this movie... SICK!!!! with my favorite actor... DARIO GRANDINETTI... my second best is Darin. but watch this... "PALABRAS ENCADENADAS" tell me that shouldn't have won an oscar.
Por lo menos aca en Colombia, solo llego a carteleras de cine despues de ganarr el Oscar y como en agosto (1 años exactamente desspues de su lanzamiento), de lo contrario ni hubiera llegado creo.
