I'd just like to point out that among the list of sub-forums devoted to NASL teams there is not one for FC Edmonton.
Edmonton is doing remarkably well this year. They are a well run organization which defintely needs to have its own forum.
Why not pile on... I'm in Edmonton, I've gone to a couple of matches and I would like to see a forum on Big Soccer.
This does seem arbitrary. Why isn't there an Edmonton forum again? Bigsoccer laziness? Portland still has a USL forum and I'm pretty damn sure they don't still have a USL team.
I've made the same point before, on different occasions, and all I heard in response were ...crickets. Which makes me wonder, what qualifications do you need to have to get a large-ass avatar on these here boards? ("Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.")
You guys just need to keep after the admins until they do it. It took forever to get them to change the Miami FC team name in the profiles to the Strikers. Try Dark Knight, he's the one that finally made the Strikers name change for us.
I've said many times it's user driven - not an existential question. If we get in the ball park of 10 posters who will post as fans of the team, we can give it a try. 10 folks voting for it who will rarely post isn't what we are looking for. Please send a message to SoccerPrime - he has a better sense of how much activity there would be in such a forum. If he supports you, it will go a long way to getting it done.
I hope the FC Edmonton forum is up soon. Watched there game last night, hard loss to take with PRI's late goal!
