Honestly, looking at the schedule, they're both looking at an ugly one.

I believe that what could prove crucial is the return to the field (and to good condition) for Okubo and the many injured FC Tokyo players.

And by the way, I would have NEVER fired Jofuku.
(Now I hope SO MUCH that Sanga makes him a good offer next season...)

Kashima slipped up against Shonan. Nagoya could end up 11 points clear now.

S-Pulse players have been whining about every single decision by the ref. Even Johnsen and Ito have their hands in the air the whole time. Watch the game, tell me if I am wrong...

Diego as been pathetic as usual. I don't think he has done ONE decisive player in J1 since the summer. (THREE more ridicule mistakes during the minute I am typing...)

S-Pulse has many absences, but the best players in this game were Ono and Yanagisawa... :)

Maybe it was because of Kyoto but S-Pa should have never let this happen, imo they should have made it 2-0 much earlier and this match would have been finished (i said the same in Urawa match and hoped for a 2nd, luckily they made it). They did way too less, and 1-0 is never really sure, Kyoto punished them in the end. :)

Kyoto with a point, Shonan with a point, still not enough. Both will be relegated.

True, but I have seen worse this season, and sometimes not even a yellow, such in the case of Marquinhos vs Sanga on Round 2 - brutal reaction on purpose.

Today, for example, Masushima kicked somebody in the face, and he did not even get a yellow... Same for Mizumoto on Li Tadanari two weeks ago...

Kyoto has been massacred from Round 3 until a few weeks ago (home vs Albirex, totally pro-Sanga ref). I guess that when they understood Sanga are going down no matter what, they have changed the ref'ing approach...

Yeah, too bad for Kyoto. Just not your year. BTW it reminded me what De Jong did to Xavi Alonso but worse, since he basically jumped on Lee. And the guy was complaining as if he did anything ... Soccer players  .

There should be another red card in Gamba vs Ardija game. Near the end of the game Lee Chun Soo attacked twice (first time referee didn't bother) with his elbow Takagi and he got ONLY yellow. Man, that looked serious. Ardija forwarder looked pretty scared after that because he knew he overdid that and could really hurt Takagis head.

I've just read Matsus report on Niigata game (Tatsuya Tanaka part of report needs some work though) and I was too impressed by work of Polish refs (Paweł Gil, Marcin Borkowski and Marcin Lis). And it was Marcio Richardes game. He was unstopable, best of very good looking Albirex team. He's the brightest star of this week in my opinion.

I gave two goals to Marcio, but now, looking well, the first might be Nishi's... not sure.

My MVP for that game was Mikado, btw. Fantastic.

If I remember it right, Mikado is the one who basically started play soccer only in High School. Sort of a late bloomer...

It was a dangerous play. To be fair, he got to the ball first and his follow through carried him into the onrushing player but a red card is fine.

I have seen this happen the other way where a forward goes high on a defender or a goalkeeper and the kick isn't called for anything. Hirai did it to Kitano when they played in Omiya.

    That's pretty bad.

I know that in other countries they count the amount of tickets sold and not how many people actually went to the match. Some countries round the attendence.
