Re: Top 5 Bowls It astounds me that Cal couldn't get anything better than the Holiday Bowl. I mean yeah, most people expected them to end up in the BCS, but the flip-side of that is that everyone expected Texas to NOT be in the BCS, so you'd think one of the second-tier bowls (Cotton, Outback, Capitol One, etc) would've held a spot open for whichever of those 2 teams got shut out of the BCS. That said, here are my predictions: New Orleans Bowl: North Texas over Southern Miss Champs Sports Bowl: Georgia Tech over Syracuse GMAC Bowl: Bowling Green over Memphis Fort Worth Bowl: Marshall over Cincinnati Las Vegas Bowl: UCLA over Wyoming Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii over UAB MPC Computers Bowl: Virginia over Fresno State Motor City Bowl: UCunt over Toledo Independence Bowl: Miami-Ohio over Iowa State Insight Bowl: Oregon State over Notre Dame Houston Bowl: UTEP over Colorado Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma State over Ohio State CONSOLATION Tire Bowl: BC over North Carolina Emerald (formerly known as Diamond Walnut) Bowl: Navy over New Mexico Holiday Bowl: Cal over Texas Tech Silicon Valley Bowl: Northern Illinois over Troy (this is on the bottom half of the list?? jeezus) Music City Bowl: Minnesota over Alabama Sun Bowl: Purdue over Arizona State Liberty Bowl: Louisville over Boise State Peach Bowl: Florida over Miami (blowout win, leading to a sharp rise in hits on www.fireurbanmeyerandrehireronzook.com) Outback Bowl: Georgia over Wisconsin Cotton Bowl: Tennessee over Texas A&M Gator Bowl: Florida State over West Virginia Capitol One Bowl: LSU over Iowa Rose Bowl: Michigan over Texas (yeah, I'm calling the upset) Fiesta Bowl: Utah over Pitt Sugar Bowl: Auburn over Virginia Tech Orange Bowl: Oklahoma over USC
The BCS is retarded for giving the Big East's Champ Pittsburgh, Utan, and Texas a bowl game, while Cal, a team that can beat all of those teams, get's the shaft and ends up in the Holiday Bowl.

Re: Top 5 Bowls Little late, as one bowl game's already been played, but whatever. Champs Sports Bowl: Georgia Tech GMAC Bowl: Memphis Fort Worth Bowl: Marshall Las Vegas Bowl: UCLA Hawaii Bowl: UAB MPC Computers Bowl: Virginia Motor City Bowl: UConn Independence Bowl: Iowa State Insight Bowl: Oregon State Houston Bowl: Colorado Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma State Tire Bowl: North Carolina Emerald Bowl: Navy Holiday Bowl: Cal Silicon Valley Bowl: Troy Music City Bowl: Alabama Sun Bowl: Arizona State Liberty Bowl: Louisville Peach Bowl: Florida Outback Bowl: Georgia Cotton Bowl: Texas A&M Gator Bowl: West Virginia Capitol One Bowl: LSU Rose Bowl: Michigan Fiesta Bowl: Pitt Sugar Bowl: Auburn Orange Bowl: USC
Re: Top 5 Bowls A little late myself, but the first bowl was a gimme game anyways. Champs Sports Bowl: Georgia Tech GMAC Bowl: Bowling Green Fort Worth Bowl: Cincinnati Las Vegas Bowl: UCLA Hawaii Bowl: UAB MPC Computers Bowl: Virginia Motor City Bowl: Toledo Independence Bowl: Miami (OH) Insight Bowl: Oregon State Houston Bowl: Colorado Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma State Tire Bowl: BC Emerald Bowl: Navy Holiday Bowl: Cal Silicon Valley Bowl: Northern Illinois Music City Bowl: Minnesota Sun Bowl: Arizona State Liberty Bowl: Louisville Peach Bowl: Florida Outback Bowl: Wisconsin Cotton Bowl: Texas A&M Gator Bowl: Florida State Capitol One Bowl: Iowa Rose Bowl: Texas Fiesta Bowl: Pitt Sugar Bowl: Virginia Tech Orange Bowl: USC
A bit late myself & there's ONLY 1 bowl game I'm really interested in & care about, but I guess I should make predictions for ALL games: MPC Computers Bowl: Fresno State 38 Virginia 28 Motor City Bowl: Toledo 27 UConn 21 Independence Bowl: Miami (Ohio) 35 Iowa State 17 Insight Bowl: Notre Dame 24 Oregon State 17 Houston Bowl: Colorado 31 Texas-El Paso 27 Alamo Bowl: Ohio State 17 Oklahoma State 14 Tire Bowl: North Carolina 31 Boston College 27 Emerald Bowl: Navy 35 New Mexico 14 Holiday Bowl: California 52 Texas Tech 44 Silicon Valley Bowl: Northern Illinois 21 Troy 7 Music City Bowl: Minnesota 42 Alabama 27 Sun Bowl: Purdue 24 Arizona State 21 Liberty Bowl: Louisville 56 Boise State 49 Peach Bowl: Miami (Fla) 24 Florida 21 Outback Bowl: Wisconsin 17 Georgia 10 Cotton Bowl: Texas A&M 23 Tennessee 20 Gator Bowl: Florida State 38 West Virginia 30 Capitol One Bowl: LSU 20 Iowa 13 Rose Bowl: MICHIGAN 27 Texas 20 (GO, BLUE!!!) (ONLY bowl game I will watch & care about) Fiesta Bowl: Utah 45 Pittsburgh 27 Sugar Bowl: Auburn 37 Virginia Tech 16 Orange Bowl: USC 24 Oklahoma 20
Obviously I hope you're wrong about the result, but 42 points? Nobody's even put up 30 on Alabama all year. Only three teams have put up more than 20 on them, and that includes LSU and Auburn. Here's hoping I'm not eating crow in 5-6 hours.
