Since the BigSoccer Japanese community is very small, I thought that rather than having different threads for each international game, we could post all of them in one thread. This makes easier in navigation and in finding old information from past international games. Japanese International pre-game, during game, and post game analysis, lineups, results, and updates are welcomed! I will start off with current Japanese International Schedule.

    2004 Senior International Schedule:
5/30 vs. Iceland (Friendly - AWAY)
6/1 vs. England (Friendly - AWAY)
6/9 vs. India (WCQ - HOME)
7/9 vs. Slovakia (Kirin Cup - HOME)
7/13 vs. Serbia and Montenegro (Kirin Cup - HOME)
7/20 vs. Oman (Asian Cup - CHINA)
7/24 vs. Thailand (Asian Cup - CHINA)
7/28 vs. Iran (Asian Cup - CHINA)
8/18 vs. Argentina (Friendly - HOME)
9/8 vs. India (WCQ - AWAY)
10/13 vs. Oman (WCQ - AWAY)
11/17 vs. Singapore (WCQ - HOME)
12/16 vs. Germany (Friendly - HOME)

    2004 U-23 International Schedule:
5/29 vs. Turkey Selected Team (Friendly – HOME)
    6/1 vs. U-23 Ghana (Friendly - HOME)
7/15 vs. Serbia and Montenegro Senior International (Friendly - HOME)
    7/25 vs. U-23 Korea (Friendly - AWAY)
7/30 vs. TBA (Friendly - HOME)
8/11–8/29 Olympic Games (Olympics - GREECE)

quite tight schedule on july and august. i think we should delay the argentina game to beginning of september. japan also have to play 3 more games after beating iran in the asian cup. they should take a rest for a couple of weeks then squash argentina to prepare for india.

Do you want to merge old Japanese NT threads into here or do you want to keep them as they are? Up to you.

It's our first match against Germany. They face Korea and Thailand too.

    4/28 Romania 5-1 Germany

    [German Team Lineup]
    Kahn (Hildebrand)
    Baumann, Friedrich, Lahm, Nowotny, Woerns
Ballack, Ernst (Kehl), Frings (Freier), Hamann, Jeremies, Rahn, Ramelow, Schneider,
    Bobic (Neuville), Kuranyi

Ouch! Are they going to change the team dramatically before going to Portugal? It will be interesting to see how they perform in the Group D, against the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Latvia.

5-1! (Japan tied Romania 1-1, not that it matters)

I thought the Germans turned the corner at the World Cup, but they're struggling again. At their current form, there's no chance in hell they're beating Holland or Czech Republic.

The opening Asian Cup match against Oman will be interesting. We were lucky to win 1-0 in Tokyo, let's see how we do in China.

they got tortured by england 5-1 before world cup too. the only thing germany is better than japan is forward. we have better defender, midfielder and goalkeeper. i have a feeling that the game will be canceled by germany fa just like portugal. we scheduled home & away game with them last year but they ran away because they got too scared. typical so-called european powerhouse. nothing we should respect from them.

I thought about this, but I guess we can start from here. You don't have to merge unless other people want to. What do you think guys?

No problem, if it's not a burden for mods. This forum has only two pages, and "Japan vs Hungary and Japan vs Czech Rep." is the only thread that should be merged. Although there is a separate thread for WCQ results and PBP comments, we can post pre- and post-game analyses here when Japan play India, Oman and Singapore.

the main problem with the japan national team is that they are always so kind that they adjust the level of play to their opponents. this is why when they played with france and czech, they looked impressive and did fairly ok with like of romania, colombia, tunisia, and senegal. but look at how they played against those minnows such as hungary, cameroon, nigeria, korea, china, hong kong, singapore, and oman. They didn’t play soccer at all. Instead it was just monkeys squeaking all the time for a banana. This is japan’s biggest problem. It’s about time that we should learn to show no mercy to those weaklings.

The trick will be to hold up a mirror in front of Señor Gaucho. I'd normally also recommend the standard, "Hey, Patrick, can you give me a ride home?", but it looks like that problem will solve itself. :D

jesus, i know koreans are the most pathetic civilization but can't believe they are jealous this much to make and search for something like this 24/7. and the most amazing part is they don't hesitate to share this sort of inteligence. oh boy, whatelse can i say? thinking that i am breathing the same air with those mold really disgust me and makes me vomit.

but yes, this is how we look like after playing with garbages like korea or whatever
