Any major move in perspective during the summer mercato?? Barnetta, Inler, Frei?

I think that the first flop move will probably be Degen! I am not sure that Benitez will keep a perpetual injured player in his squad. Hence, it would be very difficult for Degen to sign a good deal with a top european team.

Degen's got an insanely big wage and since it's "money first" for the Degen twins, I think only a loan move is realistic

Definitely but what I meant is that no club in the world would match the wage Degen has at Liverpool (around 100,000 francs/week). And since money is a major factor for Philipp, selling him will be diffucult for Rafa.

What the hell are Sion doing? They haven't let their own talents come through for years now. Will these guys get the chance? I doubt it..Maybe in the DCL...

YB's Christian Schwegler is close to signing with Red Bull Salzburg.

Why Swiss players keep going there I don't know...

Sion is disallowed any transfer by FIFA during one year. So, they have interests in keeping their current squad together. Not so good for Europa league, tough

The Schwegler to Salzburg deal is done.

Pavlovic is rumoured to Dinamo Zagreb.

A bunch of Serie A teams are chasing Dzemaili. Fiorentina, Udinese and Lazio among others.

Mönchengladbach closing in on Bobadilla, Palermo seems to be the team closest to Abdi.

More bad business at GC as they lose Alessandro Riedle to Stuttgart on a free transfer.

Depends how you look at it. Latour doesn't believe in scoring goals. He would play with 10 defenders if he could. The guy is an idiot.

Xamax' 2 young new Bahraini players Omar Ismail and Baba Fatadi look quite interesting. Especially the latter who used to play for the Nigerian youth teams.

I wish the xamax would have more home grown players. Many seem to come from Africa or the Mid east. Oh well... as long as it keeps them in the Super League.

Sion sign Servette's Yoda despite the transfer embargo.
Doumbia, Doubai and Hochstrasser renew their contracts 'til 2014.
