Any TV in US for America vs Barcelona? I just heard today that it will be a farewell match for Zague. I have to watch it now, so wanted to know if the game will be telivised somehow in the US. Is there anywhere i can go watch it in the Los Angeles area? thanks in advance

Okay.. In LA, PDT, it's on Saturday @ 1PM.. I don't know if that's live but you might. It's on KVEA and I can't remember which network that is at the moment. I'll check that too.. hang on again.. BTW: If your location, South Gate, is the So Cal South Gate, KVEA is over the air in addition to being on allmost, if not all, the cable services.
It's on Telemundo.. KVEA 52 LA.. I'm sure you'll be able to see it. 1PM Saturday.. Double check because there are often errors and changes with the Spanish language stations here that have made me miss matches.
america - barca TV The America - barcelona match is available live via DirecTV Para Todos PPV and it will also be shown via Closed Circuit at a variety of Mexican restaurants in LA and other places. The live telecast is on October 1 - 10 pm et/7 pm pt.
Thanks guys. So it looks like im going to have to wait untill saturday to watch the replay. I would get the PPV, but i cant get my directv hooked up here in these condos that i just moved to, bummer. I havent seen any place that has advertised haveing the game live yet, maybe i'll brive around today and see if i can find any. Thanks again for the quick response

Barza's president was busy. Laporta had a private dinner with Televisa's Jean Azcarraga and America President Javier Perez Tueffer. They also went to have a luncheon with Mexican President Vicente Fox. There Barza's president gave Fox a jersey of Rafa and both presidents cordially invited Mr. Fox to the game. Laporta said on TD that they are in the planning stages with America to form some sort partnership. Also said having Marquez gives them a whole other market. people can say all they want about the 2 million.. they can laugh all they want. But he who laughs last, laughs the longest. se me olvido escuchar el programa de ayer martes en radio unica, para confirmar lo del partido. rdl....en el programa de radio unica-lunes estuvo entrevistado Hugo sanches por Jorge ramos, fue donde hablaron de 1.4 a 1.5 millon de dolares por el partido. la pregunta surgio:" Hugo te parece muy riesgosa la visita del barca al america'? el contesta que tan temprano en el torneo espanol es muy riesgosa, y mas aun cuando es poco dinero 1.4 (no es nada si ellos no logran un titulo o una pocision decorosa en espana) El mismo se pregunto, cuanto cuesta ganar el torneo espanol? hablo que ellos solo estan aca, para vender camisetas de rafa....y lograr hinchas que ya estan con su real madrid, gracias a sus actuaciones en el viejo continnente. que les sera muy dificil voltear tantos cariños hacia el real madrid.... concluyo con criticas, que el esperaba que alves ganara por lo menos el premio gordo....asi como el en su despedida con el real madrid gano el 50% de todo lo que estaba en juego (boleteria, servicios televisivos y contratos relacionados al juego) sino no seria un verdadero reconocimiento al jugador!

One of the things that pissed me off was how little coverage Roma got when they came here. A couple of years ago if Verona had come, they would have fallen over but now they are too good for them or something. If Villareal or some club like that had played Morelia, they would have even stuck la academia there. Also today Jose Ramon said they had paid only 1.5 million.
Azteca Excelent point. Although i liked the idea of celebrating the final, i thought that TV Aztecas pregame ceremonies were a bit much. Now, it seems that they plug the new Monarcas website every chance they get. Doesnt seem much different than what Televisa does with america. Its ok to hate another team, but when your a journalist, it shouldnt come through in your work, ala faitelson and some of the others on TV Azteca. a little off topic, but i thought that it belonged here.
