To all who were in 101 tonite.Sat 13.What did you think of the Polish Supporters? I kept thinking this is like a bad Saturday Night Live scit.
oh man they were awesome! They made section 101 more exciting.... not how the Yellow jackets came swarming into the section to keep an eye on them..... The Red and Black brigade people were cool also. They certainly made the atmosphere more enjoyable!
Yeah they're cool, but all their chants were in polish??? And they looked at us funny when we didn't chant w/ them!!!!?? Anyway, Yeah really we need some more crazy MOFO's like that!!!
You know security won't touch us with our six foot poles, You know security won't touch us with our six foot poles, You know security won't touch us with our six foot poles, cause the esc's a massive firm. (we'll we certainly weren't last night, but anyway). Yeah, I'm normally in favor of anyone rooting for Metro, but I have a feeling those guys are a bit of trouble waiting to happen. They were not members and snuck into the section. Nothing we can do about that, but as has been mentioned before we are a club dedicated to non-violent, non-racist support of metro. If anyone gets out of hand, they will be, and should be expelled.
They weren't doing anything but cheering for Metro. Security ba$tards were all over our section despite nothing but cheering for Metro happening... And it's not the most difficult thing in the world to sneak into section 101. lol
I kinna got the same feeling...Especially when they offer the security guard a smoke if he didnt tell anyone they were smoking... "we'll give you one too and no one will see us" They looked like they'd been drinking since sat morning...They were funny..
the problem is at least one of them was wearing a scarf with a racist symbol. [/B][/QUOTE] Honostly did not see that. Explain please.
From his earlier comments, it seems like one of the Polish fans had a Celtic cross on his Polska (Poland) scarf. Racism and Fascism are very normal in Poland. (Just saying, not justifying it.)
Who cares? Did they do anything racist? Did they say anything racist? Did they act like racists? No on all accounts They were there to enjoy the football and cheer on the Metrostars..... I see no problems here....
It wasn't initially but it's become a symbol of White supremecy. I've seen it on countless banners and scarves from Lodz, Warsaw and other places.
Was the Red/Black Brigade there to see if it was a racist symbol? I say we mob up next game and check for ourselves! It doesnt matter if they "did" something racist. The fact that they are there with all their symbols and banners(?) is enough. They ban CHE Flags at the stadium yet Nazi *@#*@#*@#*@# is allowed? I say we do THIS to his little symbol next time:
OK lets not be to quick to judge. They had some passion at the game whatever induced it.I for one was in 101 and horrible, could not bring on. i enjoyed there support.WE need to pack 101!
Yea they were there.... They had a cool banner....Once again I fail to see what the problem is....... They supported Metro just like we did, and that's all that happened.... am I correct?
So you have no problem standing next to a guy who on his "time off" does nothing but hate your people and would prob wish they were all dead?
It's been my opinion for a long time that MLS supporters groups should have an anti-Fascist/Racist banner or symbol prominant, at least in places like Chicago, New York and Columbus where there are high populations of Eastern Europeans. (note that I'm also not indicting Eastern Euros-I'm Polish)
Not a bad idea but the RED/BLACK Brigade had a banner one time that said "Socialist(or some "RED" group) Against Racism" and the security guards where all over it and even threatned to take it away. And the banner wasnt even hung or big enough for anyone 40 yrds away to even see it. ALl they did was hold it up at arms length.
