would you watch soccer anime (Japanese cartoons) if it's shown on FSW like the Dream Team?

There are quite a few popular series out there like:

    Captain Tsubasa
    http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,796,tazrsr,captain_tsubasa.html

    Whistle!
    http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,912,euigky,whistle_.html

    Wild Striker (hungry heart)
    http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,1043,xkdrgc,hungry_heart.html

all are pretty cheap to licensed (they haven't been licensed yet no EVER will in my opinion).

for those that have fast internet connection and want to watch it free and know how to use bitTorrents, (download it, install it, take about 30 seconds) http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html

    go to these links:

they are all very good soccer series, check it out if you have fast internet, and would you watch it on FSW if they are showed?

I read the review on Whistle, which apparently gives a 30-second instructional segment per eppisode...Well, i probably won't watch much, but if i had children, i guess this would be a great way of ingraining in him/her the love for the game: I mean, as a child, cartoons have to be more attractive to watch than a 90-min live game....It would seem like a good idea for the early mornings....unless there is game on .....
As a side note, my cousin did watch Captain Tsubasa in its original version (called 'Super Campeones' in Spanish)....This is how he first learned to love the game and he pretty much outplays all members of my family...Now, whether there is a correlation between the two, I cannot say, but it certainly cannot hurt.

Some programming for the young or young at heart might be a good fit on FSW ....After all, Speed Channel (another Newscorp property) has been showing "Speed Racer" lately........

for non-soccer anime (that is still legal and free_though it will be licensed soon) I recommend Naruto for its 'all-out ninja kick-ass fighting' and its very halarious comedy.

    http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/3.html

It's up to episode 71 right now, but you can catch up.

p.s. THIS IS NOT A KID CARTOON. AT LEAST A PG-13 RATING IF NOT HIGHER FOR ALL THE VIOLENCE AND SOME SEXUAL REFERENCES.

    Other good non-soccer anime include:

    Fullmetal Alchemist:

Macross Zero (some of the tighest best aircraft-aircraft 3-D shoot-out ever....you will be blown away) it's only 5 episodes.
    http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/16.html

and many others, but if you have fast internet connection, check them out. YOU WILL LIKE IT.

IT'S NOT KIDS CARTOONS. IT'S MADE FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS.

I might be slightly biased, since i do watch some anime (not from the internet downloads), especially those action-oriented/adventure...But even if i probably would not watch a sports related anime all that much, i think children can become better/more passionate fans in the future if they watch shows as the ones PC4th mentioned.....
Not to mention those parents who might actually enjoy finding the time to sit down with their kids and actually watch anime together and being able to explain away stuff about the game while keeping things not as "serious" as telling a 4-8 yr old about a real live game and trying to explain nuances here and there....

did anyone followed my recommendation and download Naruto or Full Metal Alchemist?
If so, what do you think? Your positive feedback could convince others.

If you want a funny anime, I might suggest you try this one (one of my favorite. It's laugh out loud harlious). Get it now before it is licensed and will be taken off-line.

    Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu
    http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/231.html

    First episode: (my short summary):

School is supposed to be a peaceful study environment. Not anymore... Just like this morning, Sagara blew up his shoebox (locker) with a bomb because he fears that it has been tampered with, when it was actually a secret lover putting a love letter into his shoebox.

    "standard military procedure" he said.

Even though the letter was torned up, he was able to put some parts together and determined that someone is after his life even though the obvious fact that someone is in love with him. He decided to do something about the letter, and the rest....you will have to see for yourself. And that's just the first episode.

School will never be the same again.

also, there is an episode about the school rugby team, ONE OF THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN.

If you fully download them, the file should be around 170 MB or so and it is saved on your computer. When you play it with Window Media Player, it might not work because you probably going to need DivX and its codec.

You can download Divx for free here:
    http://www.divx.com/divx/?src=toptab_divx_from_/index.php

or go to www.divx.com and click on divx.

just to make sure, here are the correct steps:

    1) download the bittorents program
    2) install the bittorrents program (it should say bittorent installment succesfful)
    3) download the anime avi files and choose a file/folder to save the avi on your computer
    4) a box/window should appear showing you the speed of the download and upload and how many minutes remained. Once it is finished, it should say 'download successful'
    5) go to the location that you save the file from and open it with Window Media player. (if you don't have Divx it might not work so go download Divx. You can play the file with Divx player too.

Check out Naruto episode 71/72. One of the best anime episode I ever seen. Lot of fightings.
