One more time, the people of roller sports don't think they need these tournaments. Cabo Verde vem aos Jogos da CPLP com 52 atletas A delegação de Cabo Verde que estará presente nos V Jogos da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP), a decorrer em Luanda de 12 a 18 de Agosto próximo, será composta por mais de 50 elementos, soube-se de fonte oficial. Na competição, Cabo Verde vai competir nas modalidades de voleibol de praia (masculino e feminino), andebol (feminino), basquetebol (masculino), atletismo (masculino e feminino), atletismo para deficientes (masculino e feminino), futebol (masculino) e ténis (masculino e feminino). A caravana cabo-verdiana será encabeçada pelo secretário de Estado da Juventude e Desportos, Américo Nascimento, que será acompanhado pelo director-geral dos Desportos, Inácio de Carvalho, 52 atletas, cinco árbitros, seis dirigentes federativos, dois jornalistas e um médico. Os Jogos da CPLP contarão também com a participação de delegações e atletas de Angola, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe, Guiné-Bissau, Portugal e do Brasil. Os I Jogos da CPLP realizaram-se em Portugal em 1992. A segunda edição realizou-se em 1995 na Guiné-Bissau.
