Bit sketchy on details here, but I think Bonfrere is putting together a January training camp in the USA where the national team will face the USA national team as well as a few MLS club sides, in preparation for the final round of World Cup qualifying.

Need to find out more information though...

Hmmm, the US is a pretty interesting choice though I think Europe would be a better choice.

If theyre coming to america, it's gotta be a guarantee that they'll show up in LA.

Hmmm, maybe I'll take a road trip down there.....

come on now...i used to live in san francisco...
the korean community in the bay area is nothing compared to the community in los angeles. imagine the atmosphere in the stadium if korea played mexico? that would be hella fun.

Hey, that would be better for me! I'm sure there would be a decent turnout.

I almost hope, just out of morbid curiosity, that Ahn Jung-Hwan scores on the US again. It'll be worth it, just to see his goal celebration this time around.

    Well lets see.
Probably some flares, plange and handstands to a perfect 5 rotation back flip.

Sweet! Do you have any more information about who and where they're playing?

GREAT news!! Would love to see the USMNT & Korea play at the Home Depot Center. Would make for an AWESOME atmosphere at the HDC!!

IF it is Korea-Mexico at the HDC, I'll be there wearing "red" & cheering for Korea!!

One BIG side benefit of Korea playing at the HDC: TONS of gorgeous Korean babes!! CAN'T WAIT!!

If you are going to be in HDC, wear something red (something that no man will be caught wearing during daytime) so that we can all recognize each other and meet in person and BS. Wait. That won't work. :D

What if Eddie Johnson scores and does his Grown Ass Man backflip, that should be fun. I think the US is also playing Sweden in January so maybe you guys are too.

    This just confirmed:

    vs Costa Rica 1/16/2005

    vs USA 1/22/2005

    vs Colombia 1/26/2005

All three friendlies will be in the US. However, only K-league players will make the trip, which means it's not going to help build the teamwork that much. Starters like Seol, Lee Chun-soo, Lee Young-pyo, Park Ji-sung, Lee Eul-yong, Cha Doo-ri, and Song Jong-guk won't make it. Japan based players: Ahn, Yoo Sang-chul, and Jo Jae-jin may not join as well.

Dude, your AD sigs are killing me! I wish they kept that chip in GOB's tooth for like another episode or something. Would've been nice to here him try and pronounce "circumvent" along with a whistling sound.

Ahh, US vs. Korea on the 22nd? That should be an interesting match-up. The US have looked decent with flashes of brilliance in their qualifying matches so I wonder how that one would go. And yes, like the last time they played, I'll be happy with a draw. And then they hold hands like Korea did with Turkey and unveil a "WE ARE THE WORLD" banner and everyone sings "Amazing Grace". Ok, I'll settle for an exciting draw.

This is ok. It will give young players a chance to prove themselves.

I think as of right now USA has the upper hand over South Korea. The Koreans are just not the same since their Dutch coach left after the World Cup.
