For those who might not know about this, last years Sheep Draft can be found here. This years will be run along pretty much the same lines, although there might be a couple of tweaks here and there (but nothing too drastic). I'll be looking to start this at some point next week. I'd love to do it but my plate is pretty full right now, I don't think I'll have the time. But it will be fun to follow it a bit. More than other draft formats, this one requires knowledge, strategy and lots of luck.

I'm pretty snowed at the moment as well, so won't be able to take part, but will be following closely. I'll be particularly interested in some of Maniac Butcher's selections as he without fail turns up great players I've never heard of from South America.

To be fair in that tournament, there were a couple of teams who stood out. Past them it was merely a case of sorting the excellent teams from the very good ones. It's our world famous client service.
You had a team with two terrible fullbacks above mine. Don't think I won't forget it! I believe it can be succinctly described as "oh, I thought the other guy was handling it despite the 7 emails you sent me".
Yes it's an excellent game and lanman does a great job creating it. Best of luck (we all need a bit of that to avoid the 'sheep' or picking the same player as others do).

A few questions Are people good to start on Monday? Are people happy with 48 hours for the first pick and 24 hours for the second and third? Do we want to skip weekends, with Friday to Monday counting as the duration for any pick?
That sounds ok for me. If the last round is the same, maybe we could have 24 hours for every stage of that round with maybe longer if a weekend comes up - I think you did it that way last year? Are you posting the following rounds criteria after the 2nd picks each round? Is it 12 players in the squad and one omitted from the team (unless we get our final round picks blocked each time) and a couple of double-player rounds like last year too?
