Chaps, I've been here for a while now patiently waiting for a Stoke City section and given they've been playing in the EPL for several seasons now I can't understand how there isn't one. I mean there's sections for Blackpool and Wolves who aren't the size of Stoke so can we please get our own section? Thanks! Lee

I was in a Tea Shop looking for a tea pot for my dear ol' mom (or mum). I asked the elderly sales lady if she had any Brown Bettys. "Sure", she said. She pointed to a shelf containing a dozen or so tea pots. I told her I wanted a Brown Betty because of the superior craftsmanship. I explained the boiling water swirls a certain way around the bags and the fine inner-surface holds in the heat just long enough to brew the perfect cup. The sales lady sarcastically replied "I know. That is why I stock them." She handed me one and I closely inspected it. Although is was brown, it lacked that perfectly round shape. It didn't have the smooth, shiny surface necessary to bear the "Betty" name. I became suspicious. I turned the pot over and immediately solved the mystery. It was stamped "Made in Taiwan". This isn't a Brown Betty I told the old fraud. "Yes it is." she said, pathetically defending her imposter pot. "If it's not made in Stoke on Trent, England, it's not a Brown Betty!" I explained. I was then shown the door. I ending up buying my mom a coffee table book about cowboys. Stoke City needs its own thread!
Just to add to this. I'm often forced to go into the other fans sections to see the banter about the game since we don't have our own. West Brom (who Stoke spanked today) haven't had any new posts for nearly a month now! And the third post is from August! So come on chaps be fair with us Stokies and let us have our own section! Plus we are sure to gain some new fans with one of the Stoke directors starting a club in the US! (Orlando).
Yes. Stoke is one of the most exciting clubs to watch on Fox Soccer Channel. Tough, innovative English football (the only place where you'll see throw-ins handled by the opponents like set pieces).
Fair enough and thanks for listening. I personally believe if you display EPL clubs it's all or nothing since it's always appeared quite odd that teams are missing (not just Stoke). All I think it does is alienate those who join the board to see their club oddly not on the list. All the best anyway, Lee.
