Dempsey goals (video highlights): http://www.simplyreds.com/index.php?/Latest-News/Football-News/Fulham-2-2-Chelsea.html
Quentin Westberg with a cleansheet from Troyes of the 2nd division in France in French cup action [did he poison the starter to finally get off the bench?]
Guiseppi Rossi with a goal for Villarreal. BTW: Anyone heard anything from Bruce Djite? He used to play in the Australian League, and now plays for Genclerbirligi of the Turkish League. According to his wiki page [yeah I know...don't trust wiki] he's gotten four goals, but according to his profile page he has zero. Of course I can't read Turkish....anyone know anything about this guy's year? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Djite http://www.genclerbirligi.org.tr/bruce_jose_djite.asp
Wasn't torres' goal in the actual shootout? I don't think we count actual shootout goals. Freddy had a shootout goal we didn't count last year at Benfica.
Yeah... Torres scored in the shootout. I forgot to put that in my post. I didn't know it didn't count for the purposes of this thread. Oh well.
I owe an update-- will get around to that when work permits. We've never counted shootout goals since they don't count in official statistics. PKs count, since they show up in the official statistics. Just the way it is. We don't count goals in friendlies either, so no love for LanDo on the YA Goal Scorers List. By the way, did you know there was a Pope named Lando? I always thought George Lucus made up that name.
LD scores a goal, and Soccerstand credits Ribery. I'm beginning to believe in those conspiracy theories against American field players in Europe.
And now I've just read a match report that erroneously claims Jemal Johnson was given a red card today.
Jemal Johnson records yet another assist off a corner for MK Dons v Colchester- ; he also had a yellow card.
