We need to organize that midfield, take Beto out, do something. They got 3 new midfielders, but for what? Two of the three will stay on the bench, if not all three! The signings this month have been pointless, minus Moretto.

The ball was in the air for so long there was plenty of time for him to think and do something if you watch the replay closely you will see beto hesitate and stutter step just waiting to kick the ball, there was an oppertunity for him to do something he could have jumpled like a normal person and headed it out he had ample time how can you say there we no options

What game were you watching...liedson came jumping in and thats how he got kicked...becasue he jumped...becasue the ball was in the air...so he jumped...not becasue the ball was below the waist...and if your cliam of saying the ball was below the waist how did liedson get to ball first did he fly or jump through beto...no he jumped...becasue the ball was in the air...

what matters is what Koeman does, his going to look at the Beto sub and 1-1 at the time, and the team falling apart after that, I will predict like him or nothing his going to be in the starting lineup at Leiria.

it was 1-1 at the time but remember it was 1-0 before beto's stupid penalty. and actually the team fell part after the opening whistle. with our without beto the team played poorly all game.

if you played soccer penalties happen when less expected, benfica still had plenty of time to win, lose or tied the game, after his sub, Benfica just lost it, that's what the coach going to look it, he most feel like crap for making his sub, special with the field conditions getting worse by the minute.

i actually do play soccer and i do know that when there is a loose ball in my own area i have to get to it as quickly as possible and get it out and not take my time trying to jump kick it out

that's what he tried to do, unfortunally he got Liedson, you also know was not the reason we lost, was the play of Alcides the kill Benfica.

no he didn't. he hesitated took choppy steps so he could time his jump properly instead of just running to the ball and guiding it away with his head, chest, knee, thigh foot or whatever. he took the extra time to set up his jump that is how liedson caught up. you're right that alcides cost us the game along with beto and the entire team. i don't think you can say that anyone had a good game whether through lack of opportunities or just poor play nobody played well

what happen, Beto don't play Benfica loses, on top of it since he got sub they suffer 5 goals, Manuel Fernandes had a good first half going in the attack but defending he was always caught out of position.

O stop your whining,2 games Beto hasnt played big deal. But then again the deal has looked different since Beto came off.Alcides off the pitch,Anderson was off the pitch,Leo was on,Manuel Fernandes was on,Marcel was on.Face it its not because Beto isnt playing its because they havent grown use to play side by side with everyone thats on the pitch.Hell,Nelson was playing RB for the first time in a long time you can't expect a roll over win for Benfica.Honestly stop seeing Beto as a god when he is not.Theres many reasons to why Benfica played bad without Beto and Beto being in the line up is not one of them.

Beto is a guy who's best suited to come into the game when they want to hold onto a lead. He'll defend like a chicken running around without its head out there but when it comes to bringing the ball up midfield or even a simple break out pass he's pretty useless.

so we got a lot chickens, 6 goals in two games, Moretto allowed more goals in two games then with 15 with Setubal, 5 without Beto,

They should make Manuel Fernandes a forward, because is lost coming back, just can't defend, shame I had a lot expectations for the new Coluna.

Yeah Manuel Fernandes doesnt defend as well as Costinha, his dribbling is unbelievable. He has so much toughness too, doesnt go down easily at all. And we all know about his shooting capabilities...

Hes still 19 years old, and plays a little above average defense...but I think the above average defence, in time will improve.
