That's right, Volume Four, as in this or this or this. But not this -- sweet dear Jesus, not that! Yes, Volume Fours tend to be kinda big. What's with the use of the "-core"? Hardcore was fine, slowcore was a little bit awkward, but joycore? C'mon, what the hell is joycore?
you guys ever hear of milburn? they sorta remind me of arctic monkeys. i love that song "lipstick lickin"
They toured with Arctic Monkeys last year...good stuff. Here are some downloads in .zip form: "Brewster" http://www.milburnmusic.com/music/Brewster.zip "December (Demo): http://www.milburnmusic.com/music/December_Demo.zip

If you like Doves. You have to get the DVD "Where we're calling from" Has a good documentay about when they were Sub Sub
I think this is one of the greatest publicity stills I've ever seen for a band (in this case, The Subways):
Last night I am browsing cd's and I come across a CD by Jamie Foxx. Yeah, the actor who played Ray Charles. The CD is called Unpredictable. Really Jamie? How do you figure? I mean was there anything unpredictable about Jamie Foxx coming out with a CD soon after playing Ray Charles in the movie? I mean, it's so rare for actors to wanna be music stars and vice versa.
You'd think ad companies would just stay away from Tom Waits. As the article notes, there also an another suit against Opel, and having just heard that ad...he'll probably win again. That'll mean he's 3/3.
There's a million similar photos, and the Fastbacks were hardly the first...I just think compostition-wise, that Subways shot is perfect. But thanks for getting me to fire up some Fastbacks today!
Apparently some members of the Velvet Underground will be played in an upcoming film by guys from Weezer. ********ing WEEZER?
I recently bought tickets to see Mogwai in Atlanta. They're playing some place called Whirly Ball which looks like a game that's a cross between bumper cars, jai-alai and basketball. I wonder how that's going to go over.
They've already added a second Matisyahu show for Hammerstein. Not that hasid reggae is my thing, but the guy's on fire right now.
Yeah it is. I've only played a couple of times, but there's even a league up here. Nicodemus: Instead of jai-alai, think of the old kid's game track ball and you've got it.
