    Guys,

Read this article about karimi on Bayern's website and tell me the club does not like him. This is such a positive article, especially the quote from Magath at the end.

A positive article indeed. I like how he still believes that his best is yet to come, Im quite excited for the 2nd half of the season to commence.

Good to see him in such good form, his consistency lately has been impressive too.

Not to bug you, but I am still interested in this article. I heard he may stay at Kaiserslautern. He impressed Wolf during training in Spain. I bet he starts against Schalke.

So sorry Zak, I just forgot. Here is a quick and dirty translation:

<Starts with some nonsense intro by the author about Zandi being a forgotten member of FCK, but a valuable member of Iranian National team .... blah blah blah!>

    * Considering that Wolfgang Wolf has included your name in the list of FCK's available players, how do you see your future at FCK?

Zandi: I am now a member of FCK. Currently we are all trying to keep the team in the top league. I will talk about my future with the management in five or six months.

    * Have you or your agent been contacted by any clubs?

Zandi: There have been no contacts. Offers published in the newspapers (I don't know what he is referring too) have not been looked into either. I will make a decision sometime in the next few months.

    * Can you talk about the penalty you missed in the Cup match against Mainz?

Zandi: My penalty kick crossed the line, but unfortunately the ref did not see it. It was a pity, because we could have gone to the next round and had a good chance of winning it all because all the big teams but Bayern have been eliminated.

    * How do you summarize your 2005? You were very successful with the Iranian national team, but not as successful with your club?

Zandi: I had many ups and downs. But my best memory of 2005 was being a part of the Iranian NT. However, I was unlucky at the club level because injuries prevented me from staying in line up.

    * Can you talk about the eye surgery you recently had?

Zandi: One day after the last practice session with FCK in December, I had the surgery in Hamburg. My eyes reacted to my lenses so I decided to have a corrective surgery. I had some pain at first, but now I am doing fine.

    * What do you think of the WC Cup draw?

Zandi: I have to reiterate the fact that I am honored to be a part of this World Cup. Mexico is a strong team. We were a witness of that in the Confederations Cup in Germany, especially against Brazil. Portugal is one of the most technical teams in Europe. And I do not know much about Angola. We must make sure we are fully prepared to face these three teems

    That's it :)
