Re: FA CUP Draw [R] Insanity, I just saw the movie version of Football Factory over the weekend. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerie.
Re: FA CUP Draw [R] Dodgy tie, no matter what. I would expect Everton to hammer Millwall, but they are so inconsistant you never know. Millwall? Chist Dr I, better get the body armour out for that one.Not too sure if I'd be all that keen on going to their gaff at this stage in life
Re: FA CUP Draw [R] Whoa, Clan? Man, what is it with all the SN changes these days? I think I'll change mine to Clanblue just to ******** with people. Or Maybe Hüss.
Listen old man, I was alive during the 80s don't get all "Back in my day, little girl" on me, lol. I like the new sn, it's very slimming.
I was alive for 7 years in the feckin' 70s. Ya bastard. (Clan, Dr. I, fern - how old you feelin' right now? lol)
I'll tell y'all a little story about Millwall. Something I never do on here, but I took an early ....ah...lunch today (liquid kind)....and never went back to work W Ham were playing up North, think they were away at leeds or somewhere...anyway...rumour had it that they were getting off on the broadway, to come run through Chelsea for some aggro. This was all the talk for a week or more. Some of the real headbangers had arranged with some of the Millwall lot to team up with us...a dodgy move I thought...but anyway....there was many of us all p1ssed from a heavy day of drinking...never bothered to go to our game....and we were all waiting around the station....got moved on by the plod who knew something was up. Moved back in again and the train came in...Hammers lot got off the train all singing and stuff, belting out their anti-chelsea stuff....lots of small fights broke out...one big one. We all got moved on...up the steps and dodged the plod on the horses....up and off we legged it to waterford street. we thought we'd have them good if/when the Millwall lot where there. They were. We got done from one end by them and the other by the hammers. Nasty day that was, ended up with two black eyes, a slash on my left forarm and many bruises from Dr Martin....and accidently belted one of my best mates square in the mouth as he grabbed me from behind to keep on moving up the street The plod waded in eventually and we all moved in circles here and there, except for the Millwall lot - they actually charged the coppers. They were, without the shadow of a doubt, the most violent of the hooligans of that era.
Sorry about that fern, I just figured you were one of the old boys too. I'd also like to make this post into a formal request to Clan to continue his series of FA Cup memoir posts. Those were truly fantastic, and I'm not one to compliment people needlessly.
No worrries love, just dont lump me in with the old git Clan. I'll have to tell you the story of when a load of us got in a right mix up with the old bill and my mate ended up biting a police horse. Sounds cruel, but its a bloody funny story.
