Addition to the Crew??

It sounded to me more like a trade possibility then using a discovery or allocation. Either way, signing a new player means the Crew have to trade away another player since salaries are guanteed now and they can't just drop someone now.

If it is a trade, I would bet it involves Cunny in some way.

I certainly hope that it is another defensive minded player, at least 31, who has some valuable experience to lend to the team. If the player is coming off an injury that has yet to be explained, I think we should consider that a plus.

I certainly do not hope the player is young, offensive minded, and please let us all hope that this player does not have room to improve his play. It would be a shame to have to develop talent when there are plenty of guys out there still on the downside of their career.
