    League form means absolutely nothing going into these games, question is who wants it more? Wish I had tickets for this one :-(

    We're stronger in every way, and we will show it against the dirty scum.

    Daje Roma bring us victory!

    Nothing like the derby. We are going to pulverize this pathetic SS Merda. We want it more then they do. The Sc****** is just far enough away that every Roma player and fan knows we have to get 3 points from every game to hold onto that glimmer of hope Merda 2 will slip up. Strootman, Gervi, El Ninja, Ben and the rest are not about to let a derby pressure bother them. We are the better team. We will emerge from this game victorious, and head into the Coppa and the rest of the season with the momentum in our favor.

    I'm nervous about this game to be honest. Lazio has played better as of late.

    Well Lazio seem to be rejuvinated since Reja took over. I think Lazio is pumped up for this game to really confrim that they have turned things around.

    On the other hand this is a must win for us and we have been in good form as well off late although form doesn't say much going into these derby games.

    I think we will go with Toro and Doug as the full-backs again although Doug was not in his best form vs Napoli (not that we have any better options, so he will start IMO). Ninja (Pjanic still have some problems with his knee since the Juve game so we better not risk him when we have a good replacement in the team now), Stroot and DDR in midfield. Flo (he only played a part of the Napolo game) wil get the nod together with Il Capitano (he only played 60 minutes vs Napoli) and Gerv.

    De Sanctis;

    Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Torosidis;

    De Rossi;

    Nianggolan, Strootman;

    Florenzi, Totti, Gervinho;

    Lazio lost Hernanes. They're weaker.

    Nothing would be finer than to beat them and have this loss be the determining factor that sends them back to B!!

    I would rest Maicon and give Bastos a shot at LB. I doubt he can play three games in 7 days.

    No way man, it sucks that 2 LBs are injured, but Maicon and Toro will have to survive this week. Starting Bastos in a Derby against their best attackers is suicide.

    way too big of a risk. Maicon is an experienced player, a big boy, one of the best RB's in the world in the past decade. he'll be fine. as for Torosidis, he's Greek

    Their best attacker is 35 years old.

    And I love the derby, but for me the Napoli game is far more important to get a result. So I'd rather have a 100% Maicon for Wednesday.

    I meant Candreva too who destroyed us last season. I think both are equally important and we will have to trust Maicon and Toro who are both very experienced players, maybe sub one off if we get the chance.

    Bastos has A real Cl pedigree, Rudi knows him very well and trusts him. If he is fit , I would start him. The Romani loose their minds often. Think DDR.
    Michele is somewhat detached at this point , but not for long . It could work to our advantage? Rest Douglas and start him against Naboli.
