The Dutch star suffered a knee injury in Bayern's German Cup third round 2-0 win at Augsburg, the club said.


Robben, 29, was stretchered off after colliding with Augsburg goalkeeper Marwin Hitz.


"Robben has a deep cut down to the knee joint," said Bayern team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt.

 

After what happened last time I doubt Klinsi is saying anything to Green.

Noch könnte Green auch für die USA spielen, er hat gerade erst Nationalcoach Jürgen Klinsmann abgesagt, der ihn zu zwei A-Länderspielen eingeladen und ihm am Telefon die schönsten Perspektiven inklusive einer möglichen WM-Teilnahme ausgemalt hat.

That name isn't really typically German, though - at least outside of Southern Jutland.

Without being an expert - Wolfhart and Wohlfahrt are probably unrelated names. The former is Old High German and means "bold like a wolf", the latter means "Welfare".

Green didn't make Bayern's 23-man roster for the Club World Cup, but with Robben's injury there's a chance he'll end up on the flight to Morocco. Teams are allowed to switch out injured players up to 24 hours prior to the first match.

I don't think he is going to make a move. I think for us to get any new recruits we need to have an excellent WC. If we tie Germany I think our Germericans may look at us with more respect

Kind of a comparable situation to Green, well sort of, not really but I thought it was semi relevant.
