It doesn't say anything. Just lined up some Mainland Chinese characters (and stuff that resembles it vaguely) randomly.
So apparently there are some Japanese 1860 fans. Here is a blog by a dual BVB-1860 supporter, complete with manga illustrations: http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_dortmund_love/35558144.html http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_dortmund_love/35362678.html http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_dortmund_love/35338708.html 1860 president disappointed at the sparse crowd Shocking team statistics (is this Lauth?) Inept passing Stoppelkamp frustrated with failing to hit the target Kiraly In pajamas
Osako not being able to wear #18 was reported in Japan. http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20140109-00000159-jij-spo
Are the Japanese press given to making shit up like some of the German press? Bild is the worst. If two guys get into an argument over French fries the press will follow the German story for weeks. Sadly the pics did not post. I suspect the guy with beard was Stahl, not Lauth as I didn't see a pic of Lauth on that site. The cartoons are pretty funny even though I cannot understand them. Love the cartoon of Stark... http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_dortmund_love/GALLERY/show_image_v2.html?id=http://img5.blogs.yahoo.co.jp/ybi/1/e7/a1/borussia_dortmund_love/folder/981558/img_981558_35558144_13?1389274881&i=1 THIS is Lauth and his current statistics... http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_d...r/981558/img_981558_35558144_8?1389274881&i=1 P.S.: What's with teddy bears and Japan?
Oh crap. For some reason it did work the first time around. Maybe my browser cached the images from the open page... Yes, that was the statistics screenshot I was posting. Users on a Japanese board first thought it referred to the entire team rather than Lauth and were freaking out...as in an entire professional team that runs only 6.6km/player on average? There are sports/smut tabloids in Japan just like Bild. (There are 4-5 major ones, with various levels of credibility) There are also more serious sports sites/publications, obviously. These are the cartoon diagrams of 1860's passing I was talking about: http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_dortmund_love/GALLERY/show_image.html?id=35558144&no=13 http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/borussia_dortmund_love/GALLERY/show_image.html?id=35558144&no=14
Yeah, seems they have covered the ability to hide the url of the photo fairly well with script. It can be cracked but not worth the time. The first picture is Hinterberger the manager. He is the guy above Funkel and below Mayerhofer (the pres). Hinterberger is responsible for finding players and club management. The president sets the strategic direction of the club and the manager executes the tactical. The coach/trainer (Funkel) does the traditional coaching job. Some clubs do it differently but that's 1860 right now. But that is about to change...
Funkel says that he may play Osako in a 4-4-2 system. Osako says he plays better up front alone. Nothing new in this article that we have not already discussed. Funkel will test out various systems to see how the team plays together. I do suspect he will not play Osako alone up front from the start of the spring season to as to take pressure off of him to score, score, score right away. http://www.tz.de/sport/1860-muenche...rm-duo-yuya-osako-benjamin-lauth-3304244.html
Kashima played 1/2 of its matches last season in a 4-4-2 and 1/2 of its matches in a 4-2-3-1 according to this site. I also saw in an article that Osako told Funkel that he only wants to play striker (rather than midfield/wing)...so maybe that has been translated somehow into saying that he will only play as a lone striker. In any case I'm sure he'll be fine with whatever Funkel decides.
My friend's sushi place has a few Sechzig players' pictures on the wall. He would be a great contact for Osako.
He's a professional so I am sure of that. Funkel is not the type of coach to play someone out of their natural position unless they 1) want to, and 2) have the skills to cover that new position. He is conservative, so he will likely use Osako where he is strongest. I would look for him to try him alone up front and paired with Lauth (and possibly Wood) during the test matches.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Osako-Yuya-大迫勇也/369334310320?fref=ts Meanwhile Juuja said he is not on facebook. That makes the quadrupling in likes, the 1.500 likes and 350 answers to the comment on 1860 look a bit silly. But it shows what is possible these days with 1860.
Given his language skills he wouldnt understand most of the posts anyway. And Im not even talking about the German or Bavarian posts. But the development from 800 to 3300 followers within a week is impressive.
http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/gabor-kiraly/lernt-fuer-osako-japanisch-34176748.bild.html http://www.abendzeitung-muenchen.de...ako.c5cd6466-6c98-43ed-aaf6-062ed7b5a466.html So the Hungarian GK Király (famous for rocking sweatpants on matchday) is picking up some Japanese to help out Yuya. He downloaded an app and now knows that "hidari" means "left".
That is SO typical of him. He is one of those caring and loyal people who give a shit about others. Used to make people like that all the time. Now you can't find them.
Thomas Kroth (the mastermind of virtually every deal between Japan and Germany) talks about the circumstances behind the Osako deal. http://www.tz.de/sport/1860-muenche...er-thomas-kroth-ueber-yuya-osako-3303219.html Funkel asked Kroth to find a Japanese striker, and Kroth sent him Osako footage and told him to watch the November JNT friendlies Osako attended the FSV Frankfurt-1860 match but wasn't exactly inspired by the 6,000 fans, nor the match content Osako is likely to be in Brazil. He has become physically stronger to deal with the robustness of 2.BL He should be able to find healthy Japanese food in Munich
The most telling response for me was the third to the last question: Q: At Osaka's presentation he was rather timid. A: He is certainly no loud speaker. What Japanese is? But no worries, Yuya won't put up with just anything. He will fight for every ball and will preserver through anything -- exactly like Takas.
I hate that Kroth panders to lazy stereotyping. Japanese people have individual personalities too. Osako is one of the most boring stars off the pitch in Japan. EDIT: sometimes this works in hilarious ways. https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...ned-el-thread-r.1973259/page-10#post-29200778
