How to find an article

Lists

Many articles can be found on lists (which may themselves be found on lists of lists). In addition, many articles contain a list of related articles and lists.

There is also a all pages special page that generates a list of all articles in the main namespace. The disadvantages of 'allpages' are that related pages aren't grouped together and some pages listed may simply be articles that were misnamed and contain no useful content.

Categories

A good way to find articles is often to browse by category. Although new articles are often uncategorized, most pages eventually get put in at least one category (categorizing will be discusssed on another help page).

Searching

Put your keyword in the searchbox.

  • Go - (or Enter on keyboard) will take you automatically to the article.
  • Search - will return a list of articles.
