It's a shame that Belgian or Dutch clubs don't look into our league. It'd be great if Steffen was playing for the likes of an Ajax or PSV rather than a Championship club. Though I'm sure Bristol pays more than Ajax or PSV nowadays.
Thanks! I just asked Siri for the heck of it. She said... "is that you LouisianaViking? I dont have time for this nonsense. Why dont you go ask the clowns on BS?"
Zack Steffen says he's happy with #CrewSC but wants to try his hand in Europe again sooner or later. He reckons he had a 50/50 chance of getting a UK work permit had the Bristol City move gone through:https://t.co/DN87qqfAOo#USMNT #MLSAllStar— Charles Boehm (@cboehm) July 31, 2018 Of the reported foreign interest, Zack Steffen said: "It was flattering for sure. Would be amazing if he makes it at a lower level EPL side like CP but always that risk he ends up in a Hovath-like situation.
maybe they had interest in the past but its too late now. They bough a GK from 2BL this Summer for 2nd keeper and their 1st keeper is only 26. besides he's not even gone from MLS yet, those tweets say EPL teams are interested when the EPL market for buying is already closed. Which seems to be for Winter anyways.
Yep. People are quick to write them off, but it's never wise to do that, in my opinion. You want to look at the writer of the report, not the site that they work for. The guy who initially had the scoop seemed like a genuine, honest reporter when I checked him out so I had a sneaking suspicion about it.
When the best manager (arguably) with arguably the highest standards in world soccer wants a 23 year old American on his team, but those same high standards will probably keep him from every actually playing
Sources tell CBS Sports that Manchester City plans to loan Steffen out to begin. Am told that it could be an affiliate club, and the most likely destination I hear is Girona of La Liga.— Roger Gonzalez (@RGonzalezCBS) November 26, 2018
Interesting.. if he's going to be a part of the loan army anywhere, I'd rather it be La Liga than the Netherlands. No offense to the Netherlands, but he's ready for a bigger challenge. They're in 7th place in La Liga and only 6 points from 1st place.
why wtf? Just cuz he's in MLS doesnt mean he's not good.... look around the world, there aren't a lot of young GK out there who have recently had results like tying France and shutting out Mexico.....
