Y . . . I have never enjoyed the party game "Limbo" more than in this video for a song of the same name from Daddy Yankee
Z is for Zeke Johnson - "Panama Limited" I don't know how well known (if at all) he is outside Memphis; but at 75, he's still playing around town, so.... EDIT: We should all be so lucky to still be doing what we love at 75.
I posted this just to tell this story: One Sunday morning, my wife and I walked down the street to a food truck parked outside a small bar. While we were waiting on the patio, this guy comes out of the bar and says to us, "Hey! Sorry, I was taking a break. What do you guys want to hear?" I told him not to worry about it, we were just waiting for our order. He insisted, so I gave him a song. In the meantime, a lady with two kids joins us. We ended up staying to eat and listen. By the time we finished there were seven people sitting there. It turned out to be this guy: C is for Chris Johnson Chris Johnson was a contestant on American Idol a few years back. I have no idea how far he got; I don't watch it, but apparently far enough that it can be used in promotions. Walking home, I was just thinking about how one day you're on a show like American Idol, then a few months later you're performing on a Sunday morning for a crowd in the single-digits. I really want to add this, though: He was truly a nice guy. He performed as if we were a huge crowd; he interacted; he even came up to us afterwards and thanked us and gave each of us hug. He does play in larger venues and apparently has other things going on. Wish him the best.
Rep for Steve Martin's second career. And I didn't know Edie played- always thought she was purely a singer. I mean, this is the sort of playing she could have very easily picked up between Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars and today.
G is for Godspeed, Dean Ford Maramalde lead vox died 12/31. I'm just now finding out. This was and is a great, great song.

P is for Paul Thorn - "Hammer and Nail" First couple of minutes he talks about his fight with Roberto Duran.
Here's someone I come to appreciate more and more as I get older. John Hiatt; great stuff. Here he is with "Slow Turning."
