http://www.beinsports.com/us/americ...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer West Bromwich Albion center back Danny Barbir was on trial at Stoke City this past week, with the 19-year-old American suiting up for the Potters u23 team in their 1-1 home draw against Norwich City. The 6-3 defender was born in Atlanta, but raised in Allentown, Penn. and might have earned himself a second look.
Seems like a lateral move and doesn't seem promising if West Brom is letting him go. Am I missing something?
At the CONCACAF Championship and the January training camp, it was Aaron Herrera of UNM; at the Four Nations Tournament, it was Toni Suddoth of VfB Stuttgart. Olosunde hasn't been called up since the Dallas Cup almost a year ago.

Olosunde is a complete mystery to me.............................. I don't really have an inkling of a clue how good he is. Did we ever figure out how he's eligible to be in England in the first place?
I suspect they might have successfully applied for a "special talent exemption" because there's no word of any sort of EU passport. I don't know if Olosunde has access to a passport from an African country, but Cotonou means nothing in the UK anyway. Big English clubs like Manchester United have been accused in the past of getting special treatment in the "special talent exemption" approval process. I think it's kind of a self-fulfilling process: MAN UNITED: We'd like a special exemption for this youth player. APPROVAL COMMITTEE: How can you demonstrate that this player is a special talent? MAN UNITED: Because we, Large Club Manchester United, are trying to sign him! All speculation, of course.
Well, if that's true - boom. I've never seen a source publicly confirm that, but it sounds like you may have one.

Fulham lost 3-1. DLT did not play. Does anybody follow Fulham close enough to say whether DLT made the 18 because of injuries and suspensions or because he has moved up in the pecking order?
