Hi There, I have a list of youth players which are Defenders in Denmark, please could anyone tell me any more information about the players and also if the players are full backs ? or central defenders ? plus which side would be great. Youth Team Klebér Saarenpää Vejle BK I don't know about the others but this guy is definetly not a youth player As far as I recall he is 30+.
Just from having a short look at your list, then you can remove Klebér Saarenpää as young Vejle talent , because he is a 31-yo former swedish international and the captain of Vejle's first team in the Superliga... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klebér_Saarenpää --- I think in general it is so that young defenders in Denmark very often are moved around in different positions and used as all-round defenders and perhaps also defensive midfielders until they become regular starters for a first team when they get older. So I think that you are asking impossible questions... I can tell you that Thomas Mrva is a left back (and from Slovakia) and that I think Kristian Bo Andersen is mainly used as a central defender. Anders Randrup got his Superliga debut for Brøndby against FC Nordsjælland a few days ago, playing in left back position and getting much praise (He is also being mentioned in the video highlights in the 'Superliga 2006/07 - Reports/Highlights' thread ) . At times Randrup has also been used as a defensive midfielder in their 2nd team. .
