AZ has beaten Ajax in the Copa Amsterdam final with 1 - 0. the tournement constisted of the youth teams of Az, Ajax , Chelsea, Real Madrid, Chivas Guadalajara, Rosenborg, Watford and FC Noord Holland ( a selection of our regional talents). It is very good to see us beat those big teams, I think.
What age group? Twente A1 (the under 19s) were at the international Cor Groenewegen tournament, they finished third, AZ finished 10th, and Ajax finished 12th and last! The Australian under 20s won it, Utrecht second. According to someone on the AjaxTalk website who tracks the youth matches, it was the A1 team in Amsterdam. I saw no report about the other tournament you mentioned where Ajax were in 12th, but the B1 tourney you mentioned, Ajax finished above Twente in 4th place losing both the semifinal and 3rd place match on penalty shootouts.
