BigSoccer is the worst place on earth but I still scroll through because it's a place where "Why don't the Crew sign Pulisic?" can be found.— Andrew (@AndrewKingCbus) June 28, 2017
Alright, which one of you suggested that the Crew sign Pulisic? Respected locker room attendants and scribes occasionally scroll through here, and we can't have you lot running your mouth about soccer deals unless they are grounded in 100% reality.
Was this tweeted "from the locker room?" There are 3 good writers at Massive Report, maybe 4. The rest of Crew SC coverage led by the likes of Corporate Shill Andrew King is a circle jerk where everyone is congratulated on getting the same milquetoast Berhalter quote and passing it off as a great scoop. There rarely is any evidence of critical thinking, independent thought, or follow up. They are all just happy to be there. To that end, it's no surprise that King and his ilk would be put off by a forum where people have been known to disagree and engage in actual conversation.
We should sign Cristiano Ronaldo. I've never been in a locker room, but I heard he is unhappy in Spain!
This forum is clearly full of fans (if you can even call them that) who basically hate the Crew and actually believe they can and should sign superstar players. Yeah, thats what's it's all about here.
Pulisic would be a great signing, but he'd likely finish 12th on GGG's power rankings, so he'd only get the last ten minutes each week.
There's a huge difference between hating a team and having serious disagreements with the way it's being run. Or maybe you're new to sports fandom, since my last sentence described around 95% of it.
Bad news, folks, it's not a rumor. Y'all are idiots. Not me, though. I'm, like, super smart and handsome and stuff.
I just think it's funny. Only one person made a dumbass comment and no one agreed with him. I'm guessing the only person that thinks it's a possibility or should happen is the person that brought it up.
Just wait till someone sees about the Ronaldo rumors. Or Palermo or Messi or GBS or Rooney or well, most of the posts on here. Heck, I generally take 90% of what's written here with a grain of salt (other than @hangthadj posts clearly) so not all that bothered by someone suggesting Pulisic. We generally eat our own here and I'm more upset that someone from the outside is daring to try to come in on our turf.
What ever happened to the "what happened to poster so-and-so" thread? Lots of people have left the turf.
I actually think it should happen as well. Of course, I think I should get to bone Alexandra Daddario, too, so take it for what it's worth. I don't think this conversation should go any further until we find out what Pulisic's practice win percentage is.
