Have you seen Werder play recently, are they really that good? I read a report about today's game vs HSV, didn't sound too impressive. If they are playing that well, hats off to them, given that they lost their most important striker (Ailton). How do you get to see all these different league games? Not possible here in England I think.

Why is everyone so obsessed with Barca? Seriously, please tell me how they have played better than Juve so far this year? And didn't Milan just beat them two weeks ago? I'm not saying Barca is playing bad(they are playing quite well at the moment) but they still have to prove to me that they can beat a really good club. Their next test is Tuesday against Milan at the Nou Camp. We will see if they can pass this test. Anything but 3 points doesn't justify them being ranked number one in europe.
i didnt see them yesterday, but they have already beaten valencia, anderlecht, bayer and schalke - last week they came from 1-0 down with 10 men to win at stuttgart - nevertheless, they have a pretty smooth operation over there between canal+ and foreign channels, i see almost every league here in the netherlands
Why sevilla, middlesbrough and lecce are in top 10 ? There are several teams better than them : Lyon, Valencia, Werder, Man U ...
the result was 1:1 vs. Hamburg but shots on goal were 20:2 in favour of Bremen. The whole team handles the situation great with so many injured players. One has to give them credit for that. The games against Nuremberg and Stuttgart reminded me alot of how Bremen played last season. I fear they will have problems in the next weeks if some of the injured players don't get back but that doesn't change my view on how good the team really is. But also I'm a fan and 4 me they will always be no. 1 Here is my list: 1. Bremen 2. Lyon 3. AC Milan 4. Barcelona 5. Chelsea 6. Arsenal 7. Juventus 8. Schalke 9. Inter 10 Kiev everything below 1st place is pretty realistic IMO

lyon is kinda doing the bare minimum to stay on top in france and well in the CL - definitely top 10 material, but not quite on 100% form right now valencia... ummm did you see valencia last night? last week? when werder pounded them at the mestalla - they ain't got it right now... at all - they probably will get it back at some point werder is above them in the list... cmon dude manU is very close to showing top 10 stuff, but then they go and lose to pompey - that being said, everyone is back and they look much better than the start of the year
How does Werder get on these lists ahead of Bayern?????Bayern is beating them in the Bundesliga and did beat them a few weeks ago and also they have performed better in the champions league??? please explain this to me.
they're a point ahead, but werder have a much better GD - obviously, one game does not make my decision... but bayern have had their share of struggles with form

Objection! why has Bayern performed better than Bremen in the CL? Same amount of points there! The only good FCB game was against the Ajax junior team. Bremen had three good games (yes Bremen played Inter pretty well with one man down after 2 Min. and 2 penaltys granted to Inter in the first half).

Lyon and Werder Bremen can be argued. Man Utd and Valencia are stinking up currently. (and i am a Valencia fan big time) Middlesbrough playing very well in England. Sevilla and Lecce were pummeled today, but until these games were going great guns in the two toughest championships in Europe!
