    Ballack

    Overall, a couple :

Henry, Eboue, Toure, Lehmann, Ronaldinho, Micoud, Borrowski, Kaka, Sheva.

Key performers: Ronaldinho, Henry, Sheva, Riquelme, Eto'o, some of the others already mentioned...

But one player that hasn't been mentioned is Peter Lovenkrands. His oportunistic scoring was key for Rangers making it out of the group stage and coming close to beating Villareal.

Great call on that one, Rangers were so close. Also, Benefica's Joan Pinto deserves some merit as well.

He didn't play a lot in the CL, but Messi's performance in the 1st leg against Chelsea was epic.

Ronaldinho - not for the final, but he was key to their run to the final

Toure - most consistent performer in the CL.

I can't really pinpoint the third at the moment.
