Why some of you don’t want to start a guy who had 28 goals in 54 appearances in the Bundesliga is beyond me. Por eso estamos como estamos.

Because he isn’t in the Bundesliga

He’s fighting for scraps on a team 13 points beyond Burnley. If he’s hitting form, then he will probably get the nod.

Sadly that’s the best we got. You’re full of shit if you think he wouldn’t be killing it in Mexico or in the pub Portuguese league.

I can't speak on "how he'd do" only "how he's doing." As of right now, it's not good...

and feel free to look up my posts on him, because I have nothing but love for Chicharito...

I know Osorio favors 4-3-3 (4-1-2-3), but I would like to see this vs Germany:

    .............................OCHOA.............................
    SALCEDO...REYES...ARAUJO....MORENO
    ................HERRERA.......GUARDADO..........
    ......................J.DOS SANTOS........................
    ...........VELA.....................................LOZANO
    .............................JIMENEZ..........................

    * No Layun
    * When Vela goes to #10 role, J. Dos Santos switches to right mid
    * Subs:
    1. Corona/Aquino
    2. Fabian
    3. Hernandez/Marquez/Molina
but i think Osorio will start with Reyes/Marquez/Molina as Defensive Midfielder
    and Hernandez as Center Forward.

    Yes, yes, yes! Genius!
I've been thinking Moreno should man-mark Müller in this match. Hopefully, Salcedo + AraUjo can recover to slide Hector to the side.

Jona's crossing should guarantee Jimenez has several chances. They should start practicing chilenas ... behind closed doors. It might be the only way we could get one past the germans.

Should be another post, but I hope ZlaTan can finally get both Dos Santos to spark. They should all be able to play together, and finally Gio won't have any more teammates on the field (other than the GK & defense) who don't recognize his runs. :\/

I think it’s gonna be Gio, even though Pizarro and Fabian should go

Its going to be Fabian and Gio.
    Fabian for sure.

Although Pizarro’s critique is valid, but criticizing his boss publicly is no bueno.

Fine, but people crying about Pizarro should go are going to far. he isn't going to win/lose a WC game for us. Gio has the ability to win a game for us, not saying he would or is necessarily in form but he has shown the magic a bunch of times in the past and Pizarro has not. If I was picking the team, I'd take Gio......."ducking now"

Yes please, I don't trust Salcedo at all but this is the best we got. Salcedo is a hot head and he is going to collect some yellow cards or even a straight red, screen cap this, plus he isn't that good.

But Layun is def a starter in J.Cambio's eyes. Sad!

P.S. there are Giovani lovers in 2018 o_O.

Have you not watched NT games for the past 2 years?

The Gio we knew from 2010-2015 is DEAD!

It baffles me how much hate there is for Gio.... I know he hasn't hit his form that were all use to, but ********... Do you guys remember what he did against howard... the Netherlands, his performances in the world cups ? I know Gio hasn't been playing up to his potential, but give the man some slack. You never forget how to ride a bike, you might be rusty at first, but eventually you'll get the hang of it again.

    Gio is trash now.

He had his chances but he looked bad in all of his matches— save for a so-so games in between.

Give the roster spot to a hungry player that will sweat for the shirt.

Cuauhtémoc Blanco past his prime in his mid 30s still hustled and played balls out despite not being the Blanco we knew between 1997-2006

With Gio you don’t see that anymore. Even if his form did drop, if he would be out there hustling and trying to play I would be ok with it. But the guy is out there just taking up space. We’re playing with 10 as long as he’s on the pitch

2014 was really the year for that unfulfilled Golden Generation.

    Blame Vela.

Highlighted parts were when he was playing in Europe at this peak of his career

If those were when he was a member of the galaxy, you’d have a point win him currently
