Is this going ahead? I heard one of the venues was bombed! Anyway what's the point of playing a B-team? Either play the first team to prepare for the Asian cup, which kicks off soon, or send the U20 to give them more experience.
He's 28 Psshht. The B-Team is basically all the youngsters worth anything. I don't recall the last time a decent player was promoted from the U-20s. And playing the first team in a tournament so close to the Asian Cup is just asking for trouble.

U20.Are you gone nutsss..It would be a embarresment for us and we have to respect the host.Think if it was Saudi hosting it and all teams will be sending there B-Team C-team.. Better to play with B-Team but with players of some experience and shortlist them for final squad for Asian CUp
Its not that so..Players are selected from there overall performance.Basically U-20 team comprise of the youth eague or players for first division and that young players are selected for first team of there respective clubs.Then they are allowed to play for senior team.
Still not confirmed but was seen in news jar of Jazeera News channel that Saudi FA has decided to send a A-Team for Gulf Cup after a request from Yemeni Authorities.
