I love Riise but does no one remember him single handedly losing us the scudetto on the 2nd to last match day in 2010? No one else but Pazzini for him to mark and he still loses him twice costing us the league when we had just overtaken Inter. I hated that Inter team with every fiber of my body so maybe it made it worse for me. Kolarov was bad last year but I’d take him above Riise.

I have to wonder if Stroot never shatters his knee he gets in to some these starting 11's. I loved him as a player for us pre-injury. So much so he gets a place on my bench.
I cant remember the samp goals off the top of my head but I do remember our sweet opener and thinking this is it. But are you sure it was Riise twice who lost Pazzini? Why would he have been expected to mark him in the first place?
No question considering the winning mentality both he and Benatia brought to us. Rarely do you see such an instant impact. They took us up 2 or 3 levels.
Not sure why they skip over our goal in these highlights. But the first goal we had a lot of players back and they still let Cassano cross to Pazzini. One of those annoying games where their keeper has the game of their life, too.
